I bought this outlet in Oct 2016 and it worked perfectly up to today. We had a very brief power outage in our area and it never came back on. Followed all the instructions and still no power. I expected this to work at least as long as the lights and pump on the circuit lasted. Oh well, looking for another device.

Use this in my flower bead near my font door. Purchased it to automatically turn my tiny white lights on at dusk and off by early daylight. Fairly easy to program. Since its exposed to rain and snow, I wrapped it in a piece of heavy duty garbage bag to keep it dry. Satisfied so far.

The setup proved to be easier than I thought and once the stake was set I forgot about it. It worked like a charm in any weather. Definitely recommend.

Easy to set up and connect to my Wifi network. Survived a couple rain showers with no issue. Easy to use app. Only sad thing this model does not support power usage information.

It was easy to connect and works good. The stake seems flimsy and I was worried it was going to break sticking it in the ground, but luckily it did not. I wish I could control each outlet individually and I also wish they would add compatibility with Google Home.

After playing with the tp-link/kasa indoor smart plugs this feels rather old fashioned, you need to go into the wifi settings and connect directly to it manually, then go into the app, rather than do everything from the app. Instructions say once connected it will ask for router and password, but it never does. I was only able to setup a schedule and use it as a timed outlet with my current phone, however that leaves it sitting as an open access point anyone can connect to and change at will and isnt quite what I was expecting from the instructions or description. Googling everything refers to wionproducts.com, but that is a dead site as of Sept 28, 2018 according to godaddys This Web page is parked page which doesnt bode well for future updates. I finally figured it out reading that the app says it works with android 4 I dusted off my ancient Motorola Droid Razr M (android 4.4) and got it to connect to the router and it did what the instructions say it will! Once connected to the router my current android phone can use it now, but you need an old phone to set it up initially if you are using android, android 9 doesnt appear to work with the setup part of the app. I was going to give 2 stars, but bumpped up to 3 based on the low price. Once I got past the setup hurdles it does work but it is not in the same category as more modern smart outlets. (dated app, no google support, no ifttt support, etc.)

I have been using it for well over a month now and am completely satisfied with it. A little pricey but works just as advertised.

Works great for me. Control it with my iPhone app and Alexa. Straight forward setup.

Lets start with the app, or the lack of one that works. I opened this and followed the instructions. Nothing, I mean nothing would make the app to work. It would crash all the time or not find the router. Note I tried on 3 different android devices and 2 iPads. Eventually I gave up and found that theres another app (also horrible) called EcoSmart, but at least works. Ok, next big problem, I really thought you could independently control different outlets, this is my fault, but the description leads you to think in another way. Timer, or the lack of a timer to be more precise. So the timer of this unit seems to be located on the app software, that constantly crashes, so my lights are never turning on, unless I remember to open the app, which crashes, and reopen it. Whats the point of a timer if this keeps happening. Im returning this to amazon, avoid it if you can. A better choice: install a GE ZWave smart outlet and plug an external stake on it.
