Greater than one weekTo start, the instructions are poorly written which made the install time consuming. The instructions also indicate that the product is not for continuous outdoor use although the box indicates Outdoor Wi-Fi Yard Stake. Most import for me is that each of the three outlets CAN NOT be programmed separately. So if you plug in a water fountain and a string of lights, they will turn on and off at the same time which is useless as the lights are not needed until the evening. Better off buying a mechanical timer for $10 as it does the same thing. What value is there in having it connected to Wi-Fi?

> 3 daySimply doesn’t work to configure on newer phones. The WiFi hotspot it generates appears for a moment and then vanishes. The few times I caught it my iPhone refused to connect to it. I even reordered thinking the first one I got was a dud but the second has the same issue. The support number listed in this item rings to voice mail day and night. Also the item comes in alternate packaging, not the retail box shown here. It seems that wion went out of business and this is likely an attempt to sell old assets as new. Avoid. Second return, coming up.

> 3 dayI have been using this Wi-Fi plug for more than a month now and I am very happy with it. The Wi-Fi plug is working fine even when there was raining continuously for more than 2 days. The Android-App was a bit confusing in the first few minutes to set it up, after watching a youtube video it became very easy and now I have I setup a timer schedule and this Wi-Fi plug is coming up on and shutting down perfectly at the scheduled timings. Very happy with the product.

> 3 dayRead the instructions. Like 10 times. Just read them until it makes sense lol. This thing was a pain but it works. Just make sure you are not super far from your wifi, think mine is about 30 feet from an access point and never had a problem. Good value for the money but without integration into Google Home (my prefence) or Alexa, you still have to open this manually to turn it on and off via smart phone. Not that much of a hassle but would add more value to this product.

> 3 dayEasy to set up and connect to my Wifi network. Survived a couple rain showers with no issue. Easy to use app. Only sad thing this model does not support power usage information.

> 3 dayI have it setup in my backyard and it worked fine, then one day, I had to unplug it to to move it somewhere else. As soon as I unplug it, and plug it back in, the wifi no longer works, so I cant even reprogram it anymore. Dont get me wrong, the outlet WORKS as intended when it worked, I guess I expected a better WIFI module in this since its plugged into the power. But this has one of the shortest range wifi I have seen. When it worked, my phone had to literally be right next to it to see the signal, and when it worked, the unit will not see my houses wifi network, and I have Google Wifi, the mesh network setup in my house. Anyway, the wifi no longer works, its nothing more than a surge proctector at this point, and since I have to manually either leave it ON all the time of turn it OFF all the time, it really beats the entire purpose of this thing being (outdoors) now. Not happy about that the wifi breaks within less than a years usage. And just incase someone is wondering, there was a insect zapping light plugged into it, and I had the timer setup to turn on and off 2 times in a day, thats all. Not happy, very not happy about this. And if anyone is also wondering, yes, I have tried multiple phones, multiple Android phones and multiple IPhones, and differerent version of iOS and Android, nothing, the wifi signal never shows up when I search for the wifi signal, as instructed that suppose begins with ECO-. And yes, I have tried restarting my phones and yes, I have tried unplugging the outlet for 30 seconds, hoping it will clear some kind of cache or something, nothing. Also, as soon as I unplug it, the programmed times are erased, thats where it rendered the thing into nothing but a regular surge protector, which I dont even know if it actually protect electrical surges.

> 3 dayPerfect to control Christmas Lights from anywhere. Probably has other uses too. Easy to set up, program, and use from anywhere. Works just fine in single digit temperatures and buried in snow.

> 3 dayI now have four of these and regret buying them. They worked ok with an old wifi router I had. The connections were always a little temperamental though. UPDATE: I bought a new router, a top of the line, top rated TP-Link model that is great. I have fast, strong connections with as many devices as I need. BUT... the WiON outlets are not really working with it. I tried both the 2.4 and 5 GHz and at best I get one of them connected, sometimes two. But then its always a mystery which ones will appear in the app when I open it. Half the time its none, sometimes one, and on a very rare occasion two. And Im using the same iPhone on the same wifi, and using the 2.4 GHz connection. Some of them just will not connect no matter what, so they are essentially useless. I can no longer program them because I cant connect to them. DO NOT BUY THESE if you plan on controlling them using your phone, which is really the only reason to buy them.
