These are a great fix for doors that you want to keep opened, but your toddler has the habit of closing/slamming doors. They are foam pads that hug the door at a height that your toddler cannot reach. You will not be able to close a door with this installed. I keep these on my toddlers rooms during the day to allow easy in, easy out access for the kids, but a finger saver in slammed doors and it also prevent a toddler from accidently locking themselves in a room. At night, the stoppers can be easily removed and hung on the door knob to allow the door to close.

This was a simple fix to a big problem at my house. Our 2 kittens kept closing doors shutting them in a room while we were at work. Sometimes they were without water or a kitty litter box and entire day. This product keeps the door ajar so they can get themselves out.

I got these for when we are out for long periods of time to ensure that the pets for accidentally close a bathroom or bedroom door and get “trapped” without food or water. Discreet color. Soft design (no damage to door or door jam) easy to take on and off.

These are great for keeping my little one from closing the door on his fingers; however, now I need to find something that will protect him from the hinge side of the door.

I am mostly using these in my babies room right now on the door when we go in for nap prep and/or diaper changes. They are a year old and just started playing with the door - which also includes swinging it open/closed - so the timing of this product couldn’t have been more perfect! So I’ll pop one on the door above the door knob whenever we go in there. Its easy to do quickly with one hand, and pop it off on my way out. And full disclosure, an extra one is used as a squishy distraction during diaper changes. Whatever works these days, honestly!

The Finger Pinch Guards are working very well and have helped us to keep our doors from slamming shut. We have our finger pinch guards on two different doors all the time, the one to our bedroom and one to the stairwell upstairs, as well as one on the bathroom door occasionally. Our main purpose currently is to keep our doors from closing completely as well as being slammed shut when we go from room to room. With a small son who loves being held and a dog who loves to chase the cats, they make it significantly easier to close the door just enough to keep the dog uninterested as well as easier to push the door open while holding our son. My son is just starting to reach out and grab things, so when the time comes that he inevitably grabs a door, the Finger Pinch Guards will undoubtedly keep his fingers from getting pinched, which gives me peace of mind that his fingers will never get caught in the closing door. Overall, they are a very well-made and useful product that will never cease to come in handy!

Very soft to the touch, but sturdy and easy to apply/remove from the doors. It works!

My 11 month old started walking last month asked as a result had started getting into everything. Just a few days before I ordered these his tiny fingers got accidentally shut in the doors by his sister. I have placed one on each of the bedroom and bathroom doors during the day to make sure his fingers are no longer being smashed. I love that I can place them up as high as I want and I can remove them easily for when I need to shut the doors all the way.

They are working really well! Perfect solution for what I needed it for. I have a swinging butler door between my dining room and kitchen. I have a puppy that I need to keep out of the dining room. I was putting one of the dining chairs against the door to keep him from jumping on the door, making it swing open and then getting through into dining room. The problem with that was, each time he tried to jump on the door while the chair was keeping it from opening on the other side, the door would bang up against my chair leaving the door with dents. The other problem, there is no handle on this door, only a push plate, so when I needed to get through the door, it was almost impossible for me to open since the dining chair was keeping it from swinging forward and I had no way to pull it toward me. The finger pinch guards were the perfect solution. It prevents my pup from swinging the door open in the direction of the dining room and it also keeps the door slightly forward making it so much easier for me to grab the door when I need to open it. I love these! No more damage to my door, the puppy stays out of the dining room and I can easily open it when I need to. Thank you!

Our toddler likes to close doors. This can be put high enough on the door so she cant reach and pull it off but she also cant close the door all the way either so its pretty awesome! No smashed little fingers of trapped babies!
