> 3 dayWe wanted something to use on a door in a kids room at our business. These are great bc you can put them up at the top of the door, out of the reach of kiddos. Kids have slammed the door but it won’t shut, which is exactly what we wanted. It’s nice for adults, if they need privacy in that room, they can pull the stop off the door and then put it right back on. Very easy to use.

> 3 dayIt works as it says but make sure to place it high on doors as my son tries to grab them and play with it. So maybe double as a toy lol. It works and know it saved a few unnecessary cries.

> 3 dayMy cat likes to slam doors. However, when he does, hes stuck inside the room until I rescue him. These keep him from being able to close the doors. The only problem is that when I take them off, he thinks theyre toys and hides them! Im happy to not be awakened during the night to the sound of slamming doors.

> 3 daySeem like they could possibly be made out of a better material but work for what they are made for.

> 3 dayOur toddler (3) is a dedicated slammer of doors (despite and maybe because of our protests), and we are terrified for her fingers. Weve put these on both standard doors and sliding doors in the house, and they have worked well so far, and Im so impressed with how easy they are to put on and off (and out of her reach). I will update if we have any breakage problems, but they seem pretty sturdy out of the box.

> 3 dayMy son was slamming doors closed left and right in our house. (He just likes a closed door, who knows why!) These hes able to close the door without any chance of hurting his fingers and also the door doesnt actually close so he doesnt lock himself in a room (hes not able to open doors yet). We keep them on the door handle of every door when we are not using them (especially the bathroom that we keep closed when not in use). I use them everyday and plan to get some from my moms house for when we visit.

> 3 dayGotta love simple solutions. These work great for preventing little baby accidentally shutting her fingers in the doors.

Greater than one weekWe babysit our twin toddler grandchildren once a week. They are both starting to walk and are exploring everything. Shopping for lifes second child proofing cycle I spotted these foam rubber bumpers at a local big-box lumber/hardware store. I liked them so much I went back for more a couple of weeks later but they had disappeared from the shelves and with no apparent plan for restocking them. Shame! So I visited Walmart (they carried them but were out of stock) and several drug store chains. Nothing, so off to the web! I found these at Wittle through Amazon Smile, ordered them, and had them within 3 days. These are made of high-density rubber foam and slide over the end of the door with good grip on smooth paint or varnish. I believe they are closed cell as well which means they are probably washable and wont act like sponges in the unlikely event they get dirty. They provide a good one inch gap between the door and the jamb to protect those tiny fingers. You can locate then anywhere on the door edge and I would recommend mounting them above the toddlers reach. Check to make sure that older door doesnt flex enough to undo the protection if the Guard is installed higher! The Guards pull right off if you need to actually close a door and they are small enough not to take up much space on a shelf or countertop. I suppose we could take ours down weekly to allow them to recover shape, but most of them have been left up since we installed them with no problems. Those that are removed do return to their original shape, and I believe if they ever lost their grip it could be restored with some light sanding of the grip area. They are so simple, effective, and easy to use that I highly recommend them.

> 3 dayWe have a bathroom door that wont stay open, but this is where we keep the litterbox and the cats water. She has accidentally locked herself in the bathroom before when the door has closed. This little thingamajig works perfectly so she can always get in and out of the bathroom on her own when we arent there. We use another one to keep a bedroom door open when the window is open and its windy out, as the wind would slam the door shut otherwise.
