> 3 dayMy daughter collects these and this was a nice addition to what she already has. They are cute and tiny, definitely not recommended for children under 3.

> 3 dayThe toy is a brand new Christmas gift and does not work properly. It has some kind of glitch that is causing it to get stuck making the same noise or movement on a loop. Imagine a record that is skipping. This is what this toy does. It will get stuck doing something like quickly blinking its eyes nonstop for minutes until you turn it off. Or just twitching its head. Or it will make a sort glitchy noise that endlessly repeats until you turn it off. It is totally disturbing. Our daughter is very upset that her new Christmas toy is behaving this way. When I reached out to customer service via the companys website describing the problem (and requesting a replacement), they sent me back an email that did not respond to ANY of the problems I mentioned. Instead, they said that if the toy was slow to replace the batteries. When I replied with another email describing the problem in more detail (and mentioning the batteries were new) they sent me an email describing how to properly install batteries!!! This is the worst and most useless customer service Ive ever experienced! WowWee apparently has no regard for actually solving a problem with their products and instead just sends meaningless and frustrating emails. The customer service person emailing me is named Andrey F... and I have a distinct feeling that I know what the F stands for (and it is not Fingerlings)!

> 3 dayThis is very cute. But I found most of the sounds seem the same. I love the changing hair color.

> 3 dayI didnt know Fingerlings were kind of a fad right now; being popular, I wouldve expected this Fingerling set to be more expensive, but its pretty affordable. It works as described and the pair are quite cute -- I like that the set comes with an adult and a baby. My niece loves them -- pink is her favorite color, so that just adds to the appeal for her. I dont know how long the interactive electronics will last, but so far, so good.

> 3 dayMy house isn’t very kid friendly, we just haven’t had any younger kids for a while now so I don’t have many things for them to do if someone comes over with kids. It seems I have a few friends with kids in the 2-10 age range now. I thought it would be great to have on hand for if we have company so I don’t just have Netflix to entertain them. The first test was a 5-year-old. She was so excited to open up the package to play with the fingerling as she has a few at home. But this was and I quote “it is so cute, I love it” and she actually *squeed* about the baby that came with it. The best parts for her were the light up hair and the glitter. Apparently little girls LOVE glitter, the sparklier the better. She played with it pretty non stop while they were at my house for about 3-4 hours. So you’d think that the hair that changes colors when they move the toy in different ways or the sounds it makes for kisses and such would be the thing that kids would like the most and she did like them but the feature she liked the most was the tiny baby tiger. After a little while the larger Tiger was abandoned just to play with the smaller cub that didn’t have any special features. Kids… I like that these are small enough I can have a few on hand for the kids the end up at my house. For the 2-8 range they seem to work well for both boys and girls in a pinch but I think they are more geared towards girls and I can’t see an older boy being excited about them. The 5-year old’s little brother is 3 and he had a great time with Sam and Leo, the Baby Lion and Mini. Since each does something a little different, they are super collectable and fun for hours.

Greater than one weekMy children like the Fingerling toys. This one isnt much different from all of the other ones we have, but we loved it just as we do all of the other Fingerlings we have.

> 3 dayThis is my 4-year-old daughters new favorite toy. She carries it around on her finger all day. She thinks its a baby with all its little sounds. Its small enough that she can and does take it with her wherever we go. The little tuft of hair is where it lights up in all different colors. It does talk or mumble a lot be prepared. I have had to set aside a drawer that it sleeps in at night, so it wont keep us up. We really enjoy all the new animals that they are coming out with, This panter and little baby would be a welcome addition to any family.

> 3 dayI got this for my son to play with because I recently got him one thats a dinosaur and he loves playing with that one. He is obsessed with cats, so I thought this lion would be perfect for him. Although he did like it because it was a cat he did mention it was too girly for him. So yes it could work for either gender, but I think its more geared for girls. Its super cute and makes adorable sounds.
