> 3 dayMy house isn’t very kid friendly, we just haven’t had any younger kids for a while now so I don’t have many things for them to do if someone comes over with kids. It seems I have a few friends with kids in the 2-10 age range now. I thought it would be great to have on hand for if we have company so I don’t just have Netflix to entertain them. The first test was a 5-year-old. She was so excited to open up the package to play with the fingerling as she has a few at home. But this was and I quote “it is so cute, I love it” and she actually *squeed* about the baby that came with it. The best parts for her were the light up hair and the glitter. Apparently little girls LOVE glitter, the sparklier the better. She played with it pretty non stop while they were at my house for about 3-4 hours. So you’d think that the hair that changes colors when they move the toy in different ways or the sounds it makes for kisses and such would be the thing that kids would like the most and she did like them but the feature she liked the most was the tiny baby tiger. After a little while the larger Tiger was abandoned just to play with the smaller cub that didn’t have any special features. Kids… I like that these are small enough I can have a few on hand for the kids the end up at my house. For the 2-8 range they seem to work well for both boys and girls in a pinch but I think they are more geared towards girls and I can’t see an older boy being excited about them. The 5-year old’s little brother is 3 and he had a great time with Sam and Leo, the Baby Lion and Mini. Since each does something a little different, they are super collectable and fun for hours.

> 3 dayThe kids absolutely love these little fingerlings. They seem to be made well and I like that there are not loose parts to loose track of and I feel safe when they are in my kids hands and Im not looking at them. The most important thing aside from safety is that it makes my kids happy and that makes me happy. So far they have collected a few of these and would have them all if I had the money to buy them all.

> 3 dayThe toy is a brand new Christmas gift and does not work properly. It has some kind of glitch that is causing it to get stuck making the same noise or movement on a loop. Imagine a record that is skipping. This is what this toy does. It will get stuck doing something like quickly blinking its eyes nonstop for minutes until you turn it off. Or just twitching its head. Or it will make a sort glitchy noise that endlessly repeats until you turn it off. It is totally disturbing. Our daughter is very upset that her new Christmas toy is behaving this way. When I reached out to customer service via the companys website describing the problem (and requesting a replacement), they sent me back an email that did not respond to ANY of the problems I mentioned. Instead, they said that if the toy was slow to replace the batteries. When I replied with another email describing the problem in more detail (and mentioning the batteries were new) they sent me an email describing how to properly install batteries!!! This is the worst and most useless customer service Ive ever experienced! WowWee apparently has no regard for actually solving a problem with their products and instead just sends meaningless and frustrating emails. The customer service person emailing me is named Andrey F... and I have a distinct feeling that I know what the F stands for (and it is not Fingerlings)!

> 3 dayWell made, niece loves it. The hair lighting up is a nice bonus. I wish they were more interactive. The preset responses will get old real quick.

08-06-2025My three year old loves this toy. It’s interactive and easy for him to play with on his own. It makes several sounds and movements and can swing . Great gift or toy for a long trip. Recommended

> 3 dayOh my gosh how stinking cute are theses?!?!? My four year old loves fingerlings! And she is just obsessed with these cute little guys and their “minis” as she calls them. The smaller figures are identical and removable from the larger figures. The large figure’s eyes close when tipped (which alone is entertainment for my daughter). My daughter can’t wait to collect them all! I would say this is very gift-able! :-) Great toy

Greater than one weekMy daughter loves this Fingerling! She is a cat lover so she loves how this one looks and the fact that it purrs. She thinks the baby tiger is adorable. I am impressed at how well the baby tiger stays on the larger one’s tail. I was worried it would get lost quickly but it really does stick on to the tail well. The tiger is pretty similar to other Fingerlings in how you interact with it. If you are new to Fingerlings they have sensors that change how it reacts, like touching it’s cheek or petting its hair. She loves how the hair lights up and changes colors. This is a great gift for a tiger fan and a fun edition to the Fingerlings line.
