> 3 dayMy 11 year old absolutely adores her fingerling toy. She specifically stated that she loved that the hair lights up and was concerned with whether it will be rechargeable. It is NOT rechargeable BUT it does take batteries and they are replaceable. It also came with a cute mini lion that can be used as a pencil topper or in play with the larger lion.

> 3 dayWhen the fingerling arrived I had my two year old open the package. When she seen what I am assuming is a cheetah she became super excited. She handed me the box for opening which was super easy not one of those need to break out a hack saw to get into. There is one plastic thing around the neck that if you turn it over just clip it with a pair of scissors and it’s done. The little friend it come with just popped right out with a push with a thumb from the backside. Once I got it out she went “so cute mommy”. Right off the back I notice this is different from the fingerlings my niece has. This one hair lights up and she’s glittery I mean come on who doesn’t like things with glitter on them. Best of all as of now this glitter has yet to start flaking off all over her or the house. My daughter has been playing with it for about two hours give take. She’s threw it off the top of her princess castle stuffed it in a shopkins and little people’s bus put it down her puppy dog pals tree house slide and had it play with her woody and princess Sofia plush dolls. Now she’s sitting in her Winnie the Pooh chair with it next to her looking at a barnyard animals book. As of now huge A+. Highly recommend to people who’s little girls like finglerlings they are going to extremely pleased with this one. Update: After a couple days of playtime Ive notice flakes of glitter on her hands and the floor but its not a huge amount of glitter loss maybe 20 or so flakes. There is still a ton of glitter on the Fingerling so I would still recommend this to anyone who has a little girl that likes the Fingerlings.

Greater than one weekIt purrs, lights up and kisses you! How adorable! My little people love them too. Sam the lion has troll hair my 4 year old says. It also come with a cub that unfortunately wasnt a big hit (in fact, it got lost the 2nd day and nobody seem to miss it much) Sam however makes interactive sounds, blinks his eyes, changes his hair color and kisses you if you make him touch your cheek. It definitely will be a hit for all children especially 3 to 6 year olds. It will also make a wonderful gift.

> 3 dayMy kids wanted to get a pet, but I’m not ready for that kind of commitment yet. My kids enjoy playing with this interactive lion figure set. They say it’s like having a real pet to take care of and play with. This WowWee Fingerlings set comes with 2 adorable lions, Sam and Leo. Sam is the larger lion figure. He is animated, and responds to motion and touch. He blinks his eyes, turns his head, and purrs. His tuft of hair lights up, according to his “mood”. He is able to detect your cheek to give you a “kiss”. Petting him, rocking him, holding him upside down, and kissing him, will elicit different reactions from Sam. You can also rock him to sleep. It’s really cute how he hangs onto your finger, and interacts with you. Sam comes with a mini cub named Leo. Leo is much smaller than Sam. He’s a tiny plastic figure that is not interactive, but he’s very cute and can hang onto Sam’s tail.

> 3 dayThis fingerling is soooo cute and has a little baby! My 6 year old loves the lights and sound. It is also glittery, so she keeps saying how beautiful her and her baby are. The glitter transfers a little, but nothing major.

05-06-2025Fingerlings has always been an it toy, however, I honestly thing theyre ok. The design is cute. It comes with a little baby but it doesnt do much. My daughter opened it and a few days later its sitting in the corner, forgotten. This may be better for much younger kids around 2-4 years of age.

> 3 dayI got this for my son to play with because I recently got him one thats a dinosaur and he loves playing with that one. He is obsessed with cats, so I thought this lion would be perfect for him. Although he did like it because it was a cat he did mention it was too girly for him. So yes it could work for either gender, but I think its more geared for girls. Its super cute and makes adorable sounds.

> 3 dayWhen opening there is a thin piece of plastic that is double wrapped around the neck and needs to be cut and disposed of as a choking hazard. This I guess is used to keep the toy in place and minimize chance of theft. Other than that this is a delightful toy. Tilly is the big one and Tammy is the cub. Turn it on and it says hello and purrs and keeps making noise (purring) with the the light inside the head below the tuft of hair constantly changing colors. Head turns. Tail has a bit of glitter to give a little shininess. The cub fits on the tail (a little hard to get on at first). Head turns, eyes blink, hair changes color and creature purrs. Tilly fits on the finger -- needs a bit of bigger finger than my granddaughters though. It does have some adorable actions outlines in the enclosed users guide. I dont know what the recommended age is for this toy but as long as they are not chewing on the toys (glitter on the feet and tails and the tuft on top of head) it would be a good entertaining toy.
