Bigger than expected! Nice deep wide bowl shape too and food doesn’t fall out… love it for my cat!! Came in styrofoam packaging, all intact no chipping or cracks.

My Shitzu / Matese mix puppy (Well she is 7… still my puppy though) :-) Started Inhaling her food all of a sudden. She was making gagging sounds and no matter what I did ...smashed her food to tiny pieces… it didnt help. I noticed she had to bend her neck a lot to drop to her food.. so I thought, open the pathway… raise the food bowl. It took me forever to find something that was raised. When I was looking for dog bowl, I accidentally came across this ad and instantly purchased it. It is a game changer!!! She no longer makes the funny noises and eats slower. I wish the company would market for dogs also. Add a paw on the side... so it isnt pet specific and then others like me that need to lift the food off the ground for their dog wont have the fishon the side LOL. I purchased four of these dishes, they are great quality!! They are sturdy, my cats started using them immediately with no hesitation. They are nice and high for my Main Coon mix kitties. I would highly recommend the dishes.

Ive been putting my boys dish on a box to help raise it up. Total Macgyver action. I was looking for something that would be tall enough for him. Hes a LARGE/LONG/TALL cat. When I opened the box, I was surprised how big/tall it actually was. Its ceramic, heavy enough to not tip over when he eats from it. Its the absolutely perfect height for him. He seems pleased with it. Since raising his food up, hes stopped throwing up. (thank god!!!) At least with this great raised cat dish, I dont need to sit and hold the dish so it doesnt slide off the box ;) Im VERY pleased with my purchase!!

My cat its an elderly gentlemen. Dont have teeth and the size of it maked easier for him to eat without speel on the floor. And aldo in my opinion its good for a small to medium Dog. It is ceramic and well made.

I have several of these raised dishes for cats. This one is a little deeper than the others and so it’s perfect for dry food or water as well. My cat appreciates being able to splash in the water - it sure does hold a lot lol I hand wash and try to be careful but have bumped it in the sink - not a single chip.
