> 3 dayMy Shitzu / Matese mix puppy (Well she is 7… still my puppy though) :-) Started Inhaling her food all of a sudden. She was making gagging sounds and no matter what I did ...smashed her food to tiny pieces… it didnt help. I noticed she had to bend her neck a lot to drop to her food.. so I thought, open the pathway… raise the food bowl. It took me forever to find something that was raised. When I was looking for dog bowl, I accidentally came across this ad and instantly purchased it. It is a game changer!!! She no longer makes the funny noises and eats slower. I wish the company would market for dogs also. Add a paw on the side... so it isnt pet specific and then others like me that need to lift the food off the ground for their dog wont have the fishon the side LOL. I have several friends that have seen this and have also switched to this style. It is 200% Perfect!! Thank you, and my Coco thanks you also !!

> 3 dayI bought these for my seven cats after realizing they’ve been leaving food behind around the rim of the bowl. Well i bought these hoping it would help and since i learned that cats can get whisker fatigue and this really helped a lot ! It was kind of pricey buying it for 7 cats but you do what you gotta do for your fur babies.

> 3 dayMy CHONK cat loves this dish. He actually eats all his food because his whiskers don’t hit the sides. It’s very easy to clean and it’s not cheaply made.

> 3 dayI bought this cat dish for water and all three of my cats want to drink from it. So I am going to order several more. It is tall enough so they do not have to bend down too much and wide enough so it does not bother their whiskers. Great product!

> 3 dayInitially this bowl seemed like it would be great. The size was exactly what I wanted, and I thought it would be good for my elderly cat. However, he didn’t like it which really surprised me. He did eat out of it, but then I noticed he wasn’t eating as much as usual. (It’s important that he eat because he’s lost some weight. He’s had many tests, including an ultrasound, and they can’t find the reason for the weight loss.) After a few days, I put his regular-sized bowl right next to this one. He ate from his old bowl. Besides this, I found two small chips on the bottom of the bowl. It was wrapped very carefully so no complaint there. It was also handled carefully so no reason for those chips. I did notice this was a big complaint from other buyers. I don’t see a reason to give a bad rating when the biggest problem was my cat not liking it. I only gave four stars because of the chips.

> 3 dayIf you love your cat (or small dog) and can afford it, youre thinking of buying this bowl. You should. Its made well and pretty darn sturdy. Very easy to grasp too. Much, much better for digestion to eat from a raised bowl, and this one is a good height. The wide bowl is GREAT for flat faced cats and dogs, and of course, all four legged friends. I have other ceramic raised bowls that cost triple of this one (handmade, however), so it is nice to find a reasonably priced one. Additionally, this has a very wide bowl span, so wet food does not slide off onto the floor. With care I hope it lasts a long time. I have already used it in the microwave to quickly warm refrigerated leftovers. It came packed extremely well. DEFINITELY worth 5 stars!!

> 3 dayI decided to switch from plastic food bowls to ceramic ones as an effort to cut down the amount of plastic exposures for my two cats. I purchased two bowls, while one was perfect, the other one was a tiny bit wobbly at the bottom (it was not at all significant, only noticed because I have another one as comparison). Im so glad both of my cats have adopted to eating from these higher bowls immediately since they have never used elevated food bowls. I think they love them too as the height made it easier to eat. In terms of cleaning I do need to scrub them every time I feed my cats vs just wiping down the surface. I do feed them wet food and the dried up wet food tends to stick to the bowl. Overall this is a good product and I would recommend it.

> 3 dayI like this so much I’ve bought three, though one was to replace a broken one (it isn’t fragile, I just have a cat that likes to break things) The bowl part is nice and wide and also has a little depth to it. It also seems to be a good height for my two cats. I’ve never noticed them having whisker fatigue but I thought it couldn’t hurt just in case and I like that it isn’t plastic so no harmful chemicals.
