This bowl has made a huge difference for my old kitty. I took me some time to figure out that my cat wasnt eating because he was very uncomfortable being hunched over his bowl. I started doing various things to make meal time more comfortable and found that elevating his dish greatly increased his food intake, and really boosted his health and energy level. Fast forward to last week, I happened on this bowl on Amazon and after reading a few reviews, bought it without hesitation. I read some negative reviews about poor packaging, but mine came packaged very securely in a foam cube. I will say that it seems a bit fragile, but no more so that most of my stoneware dishes. Bottom line, my poor old cat is comfortable and eating, so its worth the money. BTW, most of us spend more on a weeks worth of cat food than the cost of this bowl.

Perfect height, nice and wide and shallow but not too shallow so it still fits a good amount of cat food. Great for cats who get black chin from plastic bowls, whisker fatigue (its wide and whiskers dont rub on bowl), vomiting right after eating due to posture, etc. I got 2 of them and I plan on getting more since I have 3 cats.

Our elder kitty was struggling to eat his food and it was recommended that we try elevating his dish. It worked so we bought this. Its great! The only thing that could make it better would be if the bowl was tilted.

My cat its an elderly gentlemen. Dont have teeth and the size of it maked easier for him to eat without speel on the floor. And aldo in my opinion its good for a small to medium Dog. It is ceramic and well made.

This product has been great for my cat. He loves it and stays interested in eating for longer. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality too. It is heavy and sturdy

I bought this bowl to see if it would help my 22yr old cat eat better. Overall I do believe it has helped him by changing his position that he eats. When he was eating out of a conventional bowl he would tend to have a lot of throwing up. I think it was partially related to him eating in a crouching down position. Now with this raised bowl he rarely ever has any sickness episodes. I do feel that this has helped him so much.

I decided to switch from plastic food bowls to ceramic ones as an effort to cut down the amount of plastic exposures for my two cats. I purchased two bowls, while one was perfect, the other one was a tiny bit wobbly at the bottom (it was not at all significant, only noticed because I have another one as comparison). Im so glad both of my cats have adopted to eating from these higher bowls immediately since they have never used elevated food bowls. I think they love them too as the height made it easier to eat. In terms of cleaning I do need to scrub them every time I feed my cats vs just wiping down the surface. I do feed them wet food and the dried up wet food tends to stick to the bowl. Overall this is a good product and I would recommend it.

I got this elevated bowl because my cat was sneezing every time she ate. I thought it was because she was sticking her nose down in bowl & inhaling dust from dry food. Since using this bowl she hasnt sneezed. I could be wrong about the whole idea but so far so good. Also wasnt aware that its better for cats not to eat bending down. Was packaged so it probably wouldnt have broken even if dropped! Im very pleased with this bowl!

If you love your cat (or small dog) and can afford it, youre thinking of buying this bowl. You should. Its made well and pretty darn sturdy. Very easy to grasp too. Much, much better for digestion to eat from a raised bowl, and this one is a good height. The wide bowl is GREAT for flat faced cats and dogs, and of course, all four legged friends. I have other ceramic raised bowls that cost triple of this one (handmade, however), so it is nice to find a reasonably priced one. Additionally, this has a very wide bowl span, so wet food does not slide off onto the floor. With care I hope it lasts a long time. I have already used it in the microwave to quickly warm refrigerated leftovers. It came packed extremely well. DEFINITELY worth 5 stars!!
