> 3 dayRouting a spline into Baltic birch plywood for plastic edging. Right after making the initial plunge cut smoke was everywhere, the paint coating had come off and was burning inside the plywood. Fixed the problem, inspected the cutter and felt OK to continue. Started cutting again and got about one foot and noticed severe vibration coming from my router. The cuter had warped and was cutting a way bigger kerf. Dont buy this product or anything from this company they make junk!

> 3 dayThe Yonico Router Bits Slotting Cutter broke within seconds of using it. Just as other reviewers have stated, the teeth immediately broke off. This could potentially be very dangerous. I would not recommend this product.

> 3 dayI bought that slotting cutter bit to make custom grooves in square-edge composite boards with a small hand router. It works perfectly for the purpose.

> 3 daySlotter worked fine in MDF for some t-molding. Remember to keep the speed low and not go too deep. At one point i tried to go nearly 3/4 the max cutting depth and ended up burning off a small section of the paint. Backed it off for the proper t-mold depth and had no issues the rest of the cuts. If you are cutting for more than a couple minutes at a time I would also suggest letting the slotter cool off in between sections. Im not an expert at these tools, but this is what worked well for me.

This is a total turd, with the blades held on by one tiny little tack of weld, and goobers of paint. bought this to make t molding slots on 3 melamine arcade control panels. blade tip broke off halfway through second panel. really? particle board? buy something else.
