The plastic glass cracks easily. First crack happened at the final stage of installation applying pressure to get the adhesive to hold. Now, after six months, its more cracked than the original was but still working with the help of clear packaging tape holding it together.

The adhesive is absolutely garbage. The glass popped off from ipad on its own on the first week, while I was watching youtube on a stand with around 45 degree angle, causing the glass to break into 2 pieces. However, the thing continues to work for 3-4 days before it decides to go crazy, ghost touching and all that everywhere. Now my ipad is locked because the thing decided to go crazy every time I tried to put my pin in, and I have to go on amazon to find a new replacement before attempting to unlock the ipad again, since its my last attempt before I have to connect to itune.

When t took the screen out of the package it had a crack on the top and when I put it on the crack went all the way across screen

Price is good, works perfectly well so far no glitches. Its tricky to replace on your own but not difficult. It comes with everything needed to replace.

Good replacement for the iPad Air screen and digitizer including the home button. All the tools were included in the package. The fit was perfect and the new screen worked flawlessly. The hardest part of the installation was the removal of the original, broken screen. The second hardest part was to use the wipes (included) and compressed air to clean all dirt particles off the screen and the LCD display. The new screen already had adhesive already installed and you just need to peel off the protective layer. The home button of the first unit I received did not work. The second one was perfect.

This review is for the digitizer replacement for ipad air a1474,cable connectors are hard,because of that theres a kick back lifting that glued part area of the digitizer,i ended adding some b700 glue to keep it in place,cable connectors need to be softer,besides that its a good quality replacement digitizer for ipad air 1.

It was very hard to remove old screen but easier to attach the new screen. Home button didnt work at all so I installed the old home button.Home button is not working how it supposed to work right now, I dont hear clicking sound. Also when I look at the screen it looks little bumpy but not that obvious.

I was a little concerned watching the video, wondering if I would actually be able to make this work. The installation went well. The pre-installed adhesive tape worked well. I wish there were a little more instructions included, but all in all, it went well. I was not going to pay a lot to fix an old iPad and this solved my problem. I’m very happy with the outcome.
