The home button did not work after getting it together. Touch screen stopped after a minute of working.

The upper part of the screen does not work?

The digitizer itself works fine. Ive done this before with ipads and iphones, so its not a new thing to me. Easy install (for me), no issues encountered. But the Home Button doesnt work. Using Assistive Touch to circumvent. It did work briefly before I closed it up but it has failed solid now. Probably wont be using this vendor for future screen replacements. Ill live with assistive touch as I dont feel much like tearing it apart again just to replace the home button.

All I could ever ask for was easy to install and came with the ribbon cable that I accidentally had ripped off. Installation was a breeze. And the repair shops had told me my iPad air1 wasnt worth fixing. Definitely was.

Pretty simple once I got the old screen off. Looks and works great!!

Installing a screen is not an easy thing to do at all. It takes time and patience. But other the. That this screen came with more then enough tools to help me replace my screen. Saved myself about $80 and it looks and most importantly it works perfectly.

The plastic glass cracks easily. First crack happened at the final stage of installation applying pressure to get the adhesive to hold. Now, after six months, its more cracked than the original was but still working with the help of clear packaging tape holding it together.

Not as easy as expected, doesn’t come with instructions. One of the picks I received was broken. Suction for the glass isn’t strong and packaging looks as if every was loosely thrown together. Wouldn’t recommend buying it unless you already know how to install it.
