I repair a lot of iPad screens and touch buttons. This replacement screen touch button came with excellent packaging. The adhesive was already installed , so no more messing with getting the strips of adhesives on right. The screen kit has all the tools to disassemble the unit . One of the better replacement screen kits, fits well , touch button already installed. Good value and it works. Could use instructions for people trying the do it yourselfers out there. But thats why Im here. Great.

Less than a week after the install (which was very easy) the touch screen started ghosting and made the iPad all but useless. I happen to glance over at it (after having left the iPad supported up and open overnight) and the screen was sliding off. The adhesive let loose. I contacted the (first Amazon) supplier and they have yet to reply. When I had given them enough time to respond, I tried again and was told I had missed the return date, but I was in time the first time, for which they are not honoring. While this product is inexpensive and easy to install, the quality is poor and I would not chance it again. Spend a little more and do not chance the problem and the headache.

1. No tools inside the package for my item. 2. After I finally replaced the touch screen (thank god), the home button only worked for several times, then its getting weaker and weaker. Finally it doesnt work anymore. Now I have to detach it, re-pack it and return it, then find a new one to install it again.

Works great for the first week or two and then the screen adhesive stop sticking. I taped it to the iPad.

Easy install

This repair kit looks like a great deal. Then it comes in and there are NO INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTILLATION. That’s right, you get everything to replace the broken screen (I guess), but no instructions are in the package. This is really ridiculous. I’m going to see if there are any video’s on YouTube. I would have gone with a different brand if I knew this before I made my purchase. Common expectations are not always real.

The install went effortlessly. A nice complete package.

My son is 4 and has broken his iPad about 10 times. I was using another brand for digitizers but the button would always break and get stuck. I see decided to give this brand a shot although it was a couple dollars more. Well I’m glad I did, this digitizer feels like its higher quality. I will definitely be using this brand from now on. Edit: Once again my son broke his screen so I re-purchased the same screen. This time everything worked great except the home button. No biggie I just removed the home button from the cracked screen which still worked. Just a tip if you guys don’t feel like sending it back and waiting for a new one.

The best screen replacement, better than original and it helped a lot that a bunch of things were preinstalled. First time my husband replace a screen on a device and he did it under an hour or even less after watching a video on YouTube. It was for kids iPad , and it didn’t last even half a year though, with a great case!
