The upper part of the screen does not work?

Product works great!

No instructions to install. Luckily found a very good how-to video on YouTube. When all done neither of the buttons worked. Waste of money. Ruined my iPad.

I like the fact that this replacement part saved me the cost of a new iPad.

I was gifted an older iPad Air because it had a shattered glass. It was about to go into the rubbish, but I wanted to give repairing a tablet a shot because Im a tech-y kind of guy and have built and repaired computers for a long time, but never tried repairing a tablet. The total repair took about two hours, though most of that time was spent getting all of the tiny shards of glass off of the original adhesive. And I had to re-do part of the process because I made a mistake and had to disassemble the unit again after I had it almost finished. All that being said, I got it done and it works like a champ. I showed the repaired device to the guy who gave it to me and he couldnt believe it. The only downside is that I will most likely become his go to guy for broken screens.

The best screen replacement, better than original and it helped a lot that a bunch of things were preinstalled. First time my husband replace a screen on a device and he did it under an hour or even less after watching a video on YouTube. It was for kids iPad , and it didn’t last even half a year though, with a great case!

Much cheaper alternative to the Apple part for device repair

Didn’t have any adhesion luckily I had some around the house. With the tools they provide, a heat gun, and YouTube took about 30 minutes to swap. Broken screen was pretty far gone. I recommend using tape to hold it together as you’re taking it off. If not glass goes everywhere.

The adhesion did not wan to stick but the case itself took care of that
