Greater than one weekPrompt shipping at a critical time. Product was well constructed, packaged and the included tools were very helpful. Installation was easy and it worked well on powerup without any fuss. The function was just as the original. Overall I am very pleased.

Greater than one weekThis is the second seller Ive gone with and really liked it. The tools were fantastic. The fit was great. I recommend additional adhesive. This is only my second replacement and it might be the learning curve.

> 3 dayBought several of these digitizers, however, they all have been glitchy. They work well for a little while (some only a few days) and then it seemingly by itself starts to just press random things on the screen.

> 3 dayI was gifted an older iPad Air because it had a shattered glass. It was about to go into the rubbish, but I wanted to give repairing a tablet a shot because Im a tech-y kind of guy and have built and repaired computers for a long time, but never tried repairing a tablet. The total repair took about two hours, though most of that time was spent getting all of the tiny shards of glass off of the original adhesive. And I had to re-do part of the process because I made a mistake and had to disassemble the unit again after I had it almost finished. All that being said, I got it done and it works like a champ. I showed the repaired device to the guy who gave it to me and he couldnt believe it. The only downside is that I will most likely become his go to guy for broken screens.

23-11-2024This replacement glass worked great! I will say if you are thinking about repairing your Ipad glass, best be a patient person. It is a tedious project. If the screen is shattered, you will be picking glass out bit by bit. I used a hair dryer and it seemed to loosen up the adhesive pretty good. Also, you will have shards flying about, make sure you have a work space that you can easily clean. I used a towel and then threw it away. Last part, the digitizer, try and get it out of the way as soon as possible. I had to take a damp cloth to mine because of all the debris. Cleaning the digitezer in not recommended (by the sites I viewed). The only issue I did have is the cable for the button, seemed a little long. For this project, I rate it at about an 8 on the PIA scale. Good luck!

> 3 dayThe glass was cracked on my iPad Air. I am an electronics hobbyist, so felt up to the repair task. Removal of the original screen was somewhat difficult. In retrospect, I would say not to worry about damaging the iPad; just use a heat gun around the outside frame of the iPad and pull the screen off as best you can. Definitely put packing tape on the screen if the glass is shattered. Go ahead and cut the ribbon cables. Once all the thick adhesive is off the frame, the installation of the glass is pretty easy. All back together, but wait, the screen is not working properly, multiple applications are launching by themselves, and the iPad is even making random Ooma telephone calls. I know I didnt damage anything, so I called Amazon and they immediately sent out a replacement. Installing the replacement took only about 15 minutes. I was able to get the old (new) screen off pretty easily compared to the OEM screen. The iPad works fine now. I am happy with this product.
