Great little lamp with lots of heat!

This lamp burnt out within a month of purchase/use resulting in 2 dead frogs after a cold 2 nights. Now we get to explain what cold blooded means and the cycle of life to a preschool classroom.

Seems to be a nice little light for our Leopard Geckos habitat. We purchased this along with thr lowest watt bulbs for the item. Gecko seems happy when out and about at night in his habitat. Note: make sure the item is in the permanent place as when adding the springs to the screen lid it seems to be a one-time placing.

I now own 4 of these lights for my gliders. Perfect size and durable and the mounting springs and are perfect.

It came squished and the initial delivery date was changed so my lizard had to go longer without it than we had hoped. I cant return it because then he will go even longer without it.

Works great and is small and compact. Only wish the arms were able to be longer, as the bulbs can be very strong.

We run an exotic animal rehab and rescue. I have to provide heat and light in different types of enclosures to different species for the least amount of energy and cost. After a lot of rearranging, consolidation and trial and error, these are a main staple for a lot of different types of enclosures. Whether it is daylight or night heat, these are the only way to spot heat or keep heat where you need it . I buy these as often as I can afford them and they rarely go out. They are great in tortoise, gecko, small monitory and baby iguana cages as well as certain types of snake enclosures as well as many other options including sugar gliders, ferrets, hedgehogs etc depending on the setup.

Best heat lamp out there. I have a bearded dragon with a 55 gallon tank. I use two of these heating lamps in her tank and they work great!

Compact and stays put. Only downside is that it does not have a dimmer to help regulate heat.
