Zilla Pet Reptile Terrarium Fresh Air Screen Cover with Hinged Door 20 x 10

> 3 dayThe screen top does not fit snugly on a 10 gallon tank. The corners are open to allow wire passage, which is convenient, but unless you cut a gap and seal it well, in a plastic framed tank, the corner of the cover remains open, allowing an escape passage. The screen access door, when closed, has a small gap all around it. Hatchling lizards will be able to escape. My hatchling green anoles have escaped though these gaps. Also, a 25 watt daylight bulb has warped the screen after 12 hrs of use. Overall, after modifications, it will work well. I was not pleased because a company as large as Zilla should have had the engineering foresight to make these modifications for you.

> 3 dayFits the tank perfectly. Easy access feeding. No rust issues like the last cover. No complaints. Use on my turtle tank.

Greater than one weekYou definitely need clamps to keep it securely down but great for dropping in food or water without having to take off the entire top and move the clips around (and accidentally forget to replace them).

Greater than one weekI bought this for my brothers 10 gallon anole set up. I love that is has a locking door on the top, because opening the whole screen has allowed his anoles to escape in the past. The only complaint I have is that the door doesnt seal completely flush with the rest of the screen, so there were tiny openings that a very small animal could possibly get through. I think we may have had a small cricket escape that way. Otherwise it was a great investment.

> 3 dayIt fits on top of my 30 gallon tank perfectly, and the little door lets me stick my hand inside and terrorize my little monsters whenever I feel like it. I think theyve grown to associate the sound of the door opening with the giant hand in the sky coming down to play with them.

> 3 dayProduct seems very well made and sturdy but to my knowledge there arent any clips that will hold it down without modification. Im fairly certain i could cut the screen and the standard clips would work; however, why would a company sell a product you need to modify? I bought this product for a tarantula tank. Obviously since then Ive realized i need to change my objective and honestly cant use this at all. So to help you guys decide, the only issue with this lid is that you can not secure it at all unless you modify it and given the price and availability. Most of us will still go with this option. Hope this helps. Its strong but you have to work. . . Lazy ass
