Zilla Terrarium Heat Mats Black Small, 10-20 Gallon, 8 Watt

Highly disappointed. Bought this to adhere to the bottom of a 20 gallon tank for a ball python. First issue was the heater failed to stick after warming. I did manage to get it to stay by placing a dvd case under the tank to hold it in place. I was able to adapt but shouldnt have to as the under tank application of this product was a selling point for me. Second the heater seems to transfer very little heat in to the actual tank. After fixing the first problem and allowing to set about an hour only a minimum of warmth can be felt by hand. I hope this proves sufficient till I can receive a normal heat lamp as cold weather sets in. Will attempt a return if Amazon allows.

Works great! ( use it outside as heater for hummingbird feeder.)

Buy ZOOMED instead. I bought this Zilla and it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the tank, it heats good, I have it taped to the bottom but sags, going to go back to Zoo Med, I’ve used them for years and shouldn’t have switched brands.

As the title says it. I have a 18 year old python who loves his heat pad. The adhesive is inexcusably bad! I mean why bother? I heard it drop 3 times in the first 30 minutes...had to gorilla tape that beast up, no issues now.

Though apparently well made, Id call it a victim of lousy design. Bought at a local shop... I knew 4 watts would be very little heat, but seriously, its almost impossible to feel any difference from ambient temp coming off this pad. The night-light plugged into the same outlet gives off more heat, and since Id expect a device made for HEATING to beat a night light, I have to rate this pretty poorly.

Does not stick. Ordered two and both kept falling off the back glass. Bad glue, does not stick.

DO NOT BUY!!! The adhesive on these pads are a joke. When heated the mats fall off. Minds fell of within the first 6 hours of using.. Zoo med is better than This crap
