Zilla Terrarium Heat Mats Black Small, 10-20 Gallon, 8 Watt

I ONLY use heat tape from now on. I went through two of these & both times the heat mat fell off - that’s right - providing NO heat to my snake.

This seemed to be an OK product, but after two weeks it broke for no apparent reason. Amazon refunded with no questions.

The product was crap. Didnt stick well and the heat didnt spread out evenly. Do not recommend.

The heat mat works and hasnt spiked in temperature either up or down, but it only gets to 67-69 degrees on its own. I also should have gotten a larger pad for my exo-terra tank. I got the mat that was recommended for a 10-20 gallon tank because mine is a 20 gallon, but it does not cover enough of it. (I knew I probably should have gone with the dimension of the mat, and not gotten the reccomended size depending on the tank.) I now have to spend more money on getting a temperature controller (which I knew I would have had to anyways so I can lower the heat at night and increase during the day.) I just wish I knew that it would only have gotten up to 67-69 degrees farenheit on its own so I dont have to wait.

Horrible product! Does not stick to glass tank regardless of positioning, does not get warm or keep constant temp. Worst product I have ever had experience with.

These mats work great for my geckos. I have them attached to the bottom corner of the tanks, so they can go there to warm their bellies and move to other places in the habitat when they dont need the warmth. The sticky on the pads will last about a year or so, then you have to use duct or electrical tape to attach them. I have no other issues with them and I have been using them for a few years now.

It is a good size and seems to work well but it keeps falling off of the bottom of my tank.
