Product was just as described. Worked great for my small 10 gallon tank. It’s sticks good and has stayed on good so far.

The mat has proven to be effective stuck to the outside wall of a glass gecko tank. Flat stones are located inside the tank next to the heat mat and the gecko loves to stretch out on the stones next to the heat mat.

Bought two and each lasted about 6 months and then stopped working. I will not buy again.

I bought this for a 5 gallon tank. It claims in the item description to heat up to 113 degrees, yet I find myself having trouble getting it to heat the tank up to more than 70 in a 65 degree room. It adheres good and seems well made it just does not get as hot as it claims to, and I am going to have to replace it to get to the temperature range I need.

I have been using this to maintain a 70 degree temperature inside a cooler that houses a beer fermented. Maintains a perfect 70 deg at all times. (I do have it on a GFCI outlet just in case fermentation gets a bit to active.)

Bought 2- if you are using for a leapord gecko the 10-20 gallon mat is only good for a 10 gallon tank. Its to small for a 20 gallon LONG tank.(not sure about other reptiles)The heat pad should be at least 1/3 of the tank. One of mine stuck perfectly the other one needed some assistance with gorilla tape you can also use foil tape. If using for especially a reptile be sure to get a thermostat. You have no way of telling how hot this gets and leapord geckos require a certain belly temp. (DO NOT use any lighting for leapord gecko(not sure about other reptiles)- lights damage their eyes-the red bulb is the WORST. If you need an extra heat source for ambient temp use a CHE).

The glue was half peeled when I opened the package. I got a second one, and it still does not work. I cleaned the brand-new tank glass with rubbing alcohol and dried it. There is no debris to make it fall back off. It just does not stick. I pinned the cord up to take the weight off. Still doesnt stick. Put it underneath a larger tank, as supplemental. The plastic bubbles for shimming the tank do not stick either. I think they need to hire a new glue manufacturer lol. I will just use the other brand of non-glued heat mat from now on,
