These bulbs are very bright and instant-on. I use these to replace the fluorescent bulbs in my photography light boxes. Not only are these brighter, but much easier to handle and not as fragile. If you use these the way Im using them, please know that youll need a base extender between the socket and bulb, so that you clear the housing. Otherwise, you will not be able to screw the bulb all the way in. Great bulbs.

I personally light the T8 light fixture but I think the corn light would be the easiest way to increase the brightness in the garage without replacing the fixtures if yours happen to be a E26 socket.

My headline just about says it all. These are very bright. Perfect for a small area with a high ceiling, or a medium area if you use both. Price isnt bad at all. The mogul adapter is included, allowing you to use them with either the standard e26, or the larger mogul socket. The build quality is a little bit sketchy though. One of the two lights I received wasnt working at first. I thought I was going to have to send it back, but then it came on after I gave it a good smack. Not a good sign.

We have other very similar lights, but they are 60W instead of being 80W. These are bright and provide a good spread, but unfortunately they have a buzz constantly while in use. Also one of the lights has a slight rattle in it when it is just shaken a little, it makes me wonder what is loose or how long it will really last.

Using them in my garage and what a difference. They light up the entire 20 x 40 space.

This lightbulbs are super bright. You can probably get away with only having one inside your house and it will light up the entire place. Great purchase for outdoor patios

These are BRIGHT and BIG. Make sure you check the size before you buy. Perfect for what we needed. LED so no worries about over heating.

Replaced a standard bulb in the attic with one of these and it is now so bright up there, I no longer need any of the *other* lights to see every corner. The bulb comes with an adapter for a larger socket for use in a commercial fixture typically found in warehouses. This bulb is also very large and will not fit into regular table lamps or indoor ceiling lights. Workshops, garages, attics, are best spots for this bulb.

This thing is BRIGHT. Clearly an industrial level item, but with the standard adapter as long as it fits the area with be BRIGHT. Overall very happy with this light, great for some outdoor lights at night. P.S. Dont look straight at it.
