This was the biggest LED Ive ever seen. I knew that from looking at the dimensions before ordering, but it was really something to behold when I got it into my hands. We use it in a utility/washroom closet and it is WAY overkill, but man does it light up everything nicely. I also plan to use the other one from the pair of lights in my garage and am sure it will do well there. I tried it out in the living room for a while and while the additional light was great, its tall enough it didnt fit within the glass lamp shade and its too bright of a light to have nothing between your eyes and it. At least while sitting in a living room. In my garage, it will be higher up and unshielded but that will be perfect. Very bright! A nice white light that is well dispersed.

Great for an outdoor workshop or (really big high-ceilinged) garage. These things are insanely bright, way too much for a small room. Since theyre LED, they light instantly and have no trouble starting up in the cold like fluorescents sometimes do. The included Mogul base adapter might tempt one to try installing it directly into an HID fixture. Dont do that! The existing ballast and starting circuitry will destroy the LED lamp. Youll need to open the fixture and remove or bypass the ballast first.

My headline just about says it all. These are very bright. Perfect for a small area with a high ceiling, or a medium area if you use both. Price isnt bad at all. The mogul adapter is included, allowing you to use them with either the standard e26, or the larger mogul socket. The build quality is a little bit sketchy though. One of the two lights I received wasnt working at first. I thought I was going to have to send it back, but then it came on after I gave it a good smack. Not a good sign.

The bulbs were bigger than I expected (I put a regular sized light bulb for scale) but they certainly are bright - its like looking into the sun! They are meant for things like parking lots or industrial lighting, but when you use them in a garage you definitely wont have to worry about losing anything in a dark corner. LED means less of an electricity bill too - definitely a plus. I of course cant speak to how long it actually lasts - a couple of days at least. They estimate 23 years... if Im still writing reviews that far in the future, Ill try to remember to come back and give an update!

In 2015, I purchased an 80-watt white corn bulb, which I use in my garage. There are some noticeable differences between this 80 white corn bulb and the one Ive been using, which Ill list below. My pros and cons are based on comparing this corn bulb to my old 2015 corn bulb. PROS - Good Price. When I bought my last corn bulb in 2015, it cost more than twice as much as this bulb. A single 80 white corn bulb cost me about $100 back then. - Lightweight. This 80 watt corn bulb is significantly lighter than the 2015 corn bulb. It was recommended in 2015 that 80 watt corn bulbs use a mogul base or a strap because of their weight. However, the combined weight of these two new 80-watt corn bulbs is less than that single 80-watt bulb from 2015. - Bright. In terms of brightness, these new 80 watt bulbs are equal to or possibly even brighter than my 2015 corn bulb. - Instant on. My 2015 corn bulb has around a half-second delay after flipping on the switch before it lights. These corn bulbs light up immediately. CONS Constant hum. My 2015 corn bulb is and has always been completely silent. These corn bulbs emit a distinct hum. After being illuminated a few minutes, the hum becomes less perceptible, but it is still present. This is the only thing keeping me from rating these corn bulbs 5 stars.

These bulbs were not what I was expecting, they are huge, but also perfect for the placement in our barn. Their brightness requires sunglasses as the 2 areas are only 8x6, but I really do like them. They have adaptors so fit not only E26 but also E39 sockets.

These bulbs are monsters. Theyre a bit bigger than I anticipated, but theyll work replacing a bulb in a parking lot fixture. The old bulbs arent as efficient, theyre expensive to replace, and theyre noisy. Time will tell, but these should cut expenses about 65 - 75%, and should eliminate that annoying buzzing sound. So far, so good!

These quality E26 base LED bulbs are very bright! If you are using it where you previously had an incandescent, LED, or CFL bulb, it just screws right in -- nothing else is needed. Both of the bulbs that I received worked perfectly. These super bright LED bulbs are a great option for large spaces that need a lot of light, such as a large garage, warehouse, factory, gym, parking lot, etc. E39 to E26 base adapters are included.
