> 3 dayI got this set to replace another exterior lamps bulb. I did a similar thing with another 120w corn cob bulb. This unit is 150w. might not sound like much, but thats 25% more power, combined with the bulbs are LED, thats a lot more intense light. I think the mercury vapor and high pressure sodium bulbs days are numbered.

> 3 dayWell I definitely wasn’t expecting them to be so long but thats just fine with me because jsut means more leds and this thing is practically a mini sun. Blown away by the brightness plus the wide spread. I couldn’t recommend these enough

> 3 dayI don’t know how they did it but this thing is the brightest light I’ve ever seen. This is the first “corn cob” light I’ve used and I actually had to look up the meaning. The way the LED chips are oriented looks similar to corn on the cob. The light itself is very large and likely wouldn’t fit inside many covered fixtures but that’s not what they are made for anyway. These are perfect for shop or garage lighting where maximum brightness is needed. In my shop, I have six, 4’ LED shop lights. These two bulbs overpower those 6 lights and make them unnecessary. Those shop lights were many times more expensive than these bulbs and I’d recommend anyone looking for bright shop lights to give these a shot. Extremely impressive lights.

> 3 dayThese are very bright white lights used for industrial areas that require bright light. Very functional. It will last long and I used it for my large garage, it lights up the area very well. Dont know whether it is worth the price of $30 each.

> 3 dayI had been using the 3 way LED bulbs that direct the light downward in my garage for more light, and they did supply provide more light. But with these Corn Cob lights, you get a better dispersion of light in that they are not directed only to the ground. These light up both horizontally and vertically. Really make the garage bright for my use. I have a number of shelving units around the outside walls, and these illuminate what is on the shelves so much better. Love them.

Greater than one weekI installed these in my porch lights. There is one on each side of the door. They light up everything including a good portion of the front yard. They are instant on and insanely bright!

> 3 dayCorn bulbs are a huge game changer in garage lighting. I also use these on the patio and they are practically security lights they are so so bright. But understand that they will not fit in most fixtures- it’s like trying to put in a lightbulb the size and shape of a very fat soda can and you need clearance around the bulb itself too. But in the right fixture, these bulbs light up a huge area with bright, even light. It’s definitely not for your bedside table but for areas like basements, garage, patio, workshop, they are perfect.

> 3 dayThis is a pretty bright light and it gives you impressive even illumination. The base of the light is larger than the normal Edison socket you would find in your home but it comes with an adapter. If you take that into account with the overall large size of the bulb though you were going to find it difficult to enclose this in most consumer fixtures. This is definitely a light suited to more commercial or industrial applications. I am using them in a straight socket that is illuminating a hallway from the ceiling. There is no light fixture surrounding it it is just the raw bulb so it gives plenty of light for that. Much more light than the 150 W incandescent that used to be in there. I recommend you measuring any fixture that you may intend to use this in. You will need a minimum of 5 inches clearance for the width and 12 inches clearance for the links. 13 if you intend to use the adapter. this is the absolute minimum. You probably need more for heat dissipation as well.

> 3 dayThis bulb is BRIGHT. I removed 6 LED soft bulbs and put in just this one. It is brighter than all of the others combined. Highly recommend if you really want to light up a room.

> 3 dayThese bulbs are very bright and instant-on. I use these to replace the fluorescent bulbs in my photography light boxes. Not only are these brighter, but much easier to handle and not as fragile. If you use these the way Im using them, please know that youll need a base extender between the socket and bulb, so that you clear the housing. Otherwise, you will not be able to screw the bulb all the way in. Great bulbs.
