> 24 hourThere are lots of cutting mats out there but I saw this one had a lot of five star reviews so I thought Id give it a try. After some extensive use already, Im going to add my five star rating to the pile. This is a great mat for craft work. Ive been using it for cutting foam for some costumes and I have to press hard to cut all the way through the foam but you can hardly notice any cuts in the surface. I like the double-sided feature in case the surface ever does start to get worn out I can flip it over and start with a new mat. It is a little heavy but I like that it gives you a real solid surface to work on.

> 24 hourI use a cutting mat daily to cut card stock and chipboard so before long its becomes rough because of all the cuts. So far not this mat. I cant even see a cut on this mat it heals so completely...Im amazed it is still nice and smooth. I like this so much better than the Olfa and X-acto mats Ive used. I also like the size of this mat...not too big, not too small. Alnd, it stays in place when youre using it. It doesnt slide around on the desktop like my previous mats. Nice for circular cuts.

> 24 hourSo far, so good. I havent used it too often since it arrived, but when I have, it was a great aid to create 180 degree angle cuts, but it allows me to create 30, 45, 60, and 90 degree angles, as well. Other markings on the the mat ensure I have a nice product at the end. I personally have not tried it, yet, but you could easily make a 1 or 2 frame using the guides that are found running across the diagonals of the mat (the corners are 45 degrees which make a nice fit for a frame). The one side Ive used, has only been used a few times, and I can see some cutlines. I use a metal ruler and either a #11 xacto knife or rotary cutter. I dont know which, or if both, caused the visible marks with a very, very very slight raised feeling. I did find small pieces of a mylar blanket embedded in two of the cuts. Because of this, I will need to be a little more gentle with the pressure I use, depending on the material cut. I mainly cut paper, cardboard, cardstock (light and medium), and mylar. In the future, I will need to remember the pressure Im using, and I think I should refrain from the rotary cutter. I couldnt give it it 5 stars, for only one reason. All the markings are in inches, subdivided by 1/4 inch. I like to be very precise when crafting, or building, and would have appreciated english units on one side, and metric units on the other side. If I find the time, I will probably need to add metric markings with a sharpie (hoping it will stay on the board and not smear). Until then, if I need more accurate and precise measurements, Ill have to use my ruler in conjunction with the mat. Over all, with my current limited use, I am satisfied with the mat. I love the angle measurements that are included on both sides. Metric units would have earned it 5 stars.

> 24 hourThis is a perfect size cutting mat for cutting medium to smaller size items. I love the color, it came with a very detailed instructions for how to care for it, how to store it, and how to make sure it lasts and serves its purpose for a long time. The service from the seller was above par. I would highly recommend this item if you sew, quilt, or craft to protect your working surfaces. It has grid lines to help you align and measure for straight and even cutting. Use with a rotary cutter. It is top quality!

> 24 hourGot this as a gift for my mom who enjoys quilting and needed a bigger self healing mat. This is really a great deal and fairly priced! She gives it 5 stars because its a great clean surface to work on and cut her quilts. Thank you for this product!

> 24 hourI havent had time to use it, putting a couple short cuts on it with nothing on it with My self sharpened new Fiskars rotary cutter left a couple very, very shallow lines I had to bend the mat back to see. Good stuff. Well marked with measurements Ill take care of It till I buy an other if I ever need to which is doubtful with the little I do. They even responded to Me that it will last far longer than it takes the Years Long warrenty to expire. A life time for Me. - Oh well it will be a heirloom if some Dim-Dot dosnt throw it out. Yesr.

> 24 hourThe things I like best: the numbering doesnt start at the edge as Ive seen on other mats. Double-sided means it should. last twice as long. Only thing Id change: some line differentiation extending beyond the grid - if you are using the0 line to square, you cant clearly see the fractions.
