> 24 hourWorks as expected. Looks great, appears accurate, easy to clean. Cost was less than those sold in retail stores. Finally made the transition to rotary cutting and am loving it so far.

> 24 hourIve not had opportunity to use it yet. I do like the fact it is double sided and I could buy a size usable in my small home surroundings--10x15 room in an assisted living facility with only VERY small cabinet area and small desk. Thank you for carrying that size mat. Orah May Mockbee

> 24 hourNote- I use snap off blades to cut, not xacto blades. This factor may greatly change the durability rating and review I am giving. Difference is I am always using a new to near new sharpness. Using an xacto blade forces users to stick with a blade for longer and causes more pressure to be used. So do know this review may be drastically different due to that factor. My usage amount for one of these boards lifespan was 3 months with 8 hours a day usage. And tiny frequent cuts. I had about 1,644 pieces of tiny designs. I used it till there was really no option. Pro - every zone of it was used once one spot was overused and started flaking. Just because one spot is bad it doesnt make the whole thing go to crud Once one side is bad the other side is like brand new! Stays in place on the surface but easy to move and slide This is one that isnt so expensive that you feel it let you down. This does the job at a level I expect should for the price. I know I am going to do heavy use and will eventually destroy any cutting mat. It takes a bit to get to the flaking or tiny pieces starting to come out. Thats what happens when you carve things with a blade. Cons- Doesnt use metric In an ideal world these should never go bad but this is an even pay off. So this may not be one to go bragging to everyone about as I dont expect it to do much other than last awhile. It does allow me to afford to put more money into what I am cutting with and material being cut woth a comfortable work area. User difference info - I do use olfa brand blades for my snap off blades In a dewalt brand holder. No arthritis issues at all with those hours. And the blades are where the true investment to be towards. Circle cutter on it was ok -. grip isnt strong enough to not slide a bit while having to hold pressure down and turning of the device. I dont love or hate this board, I am happy with it because it logically makes sense that it has reached the point of needing to be replaced. I used it a lot and these can only take so many cuts.

> 24 hourAfter cutting up alot of foam board. I was sure this mat would also have been all cut up. Sure it says it can self heal but that cant be true right? Well it is true, After all the cutting I did for a few days. This mat still feels and looks like new. It a amazing product for any hobbiest.

> 24 hourit was surprised and in awe of this mat. it looks like they put two mats together for double sided mat. its heavy in a good way. I have never seen quality in another mat before like this one, and the price is to good to be true. used it once so far and it looks like brand new. I look forward to using this mat for a long while. my last mat only lasted 6 months. i do a lot of quilting. I am looking forward to this mat lasting longer. it sure looks and feels like it will. this mat had no smell to it like some reviewers said and arrived flat in great condition.

> 24 hourI recently used my Crafty World mat with a rotary cutter. There are no scratches, cuts, or any indication that I used the mat. Unlike the expensive Olfa mat I purchased in the fall of 2017, used my rotary cutter on it and it is full of cuts even though it claimed to be self-healing. When searching for a new mat, I spoke to the sales ladies at my favorite fabric store and they recommended contacting Olfa regarding the mat. Followed up with Olfa and the representative I spoke with recommended rotating the mat or flipping it over! Really? I guess I could not have figured that out for myself! Needless to say I told the Olfa rep that I will turn the mat over and throw it away, letting anyone who is looking for a mat for a rotary cutter to look to Crafty World Self-Healing mat because this product is truly self healing. As much money as I spent, the very least Olfa could have done would be to replace the mat or my money—negative on both...Olfa who? Great product Crafty World. I will continue telling my quilting and rotary cutter friends about your mat! Thanks to Amazon for having another quality product.

> 24 hourThis is a very nice cutting mat. Size is appropriate and the quality is great. My only complaint was the very strong odor upon opening for the first time. I suggest opening it outside and letting it air out for an hour or so. Smells like paint fumes, but it goes away.

> 24 hourI really like having lines on both side of the mat. I am currently moving my sewing room so I have not had much time to actually use the mat. As a quilter it is almost unbelievable that a mat will last 10 years but you can also tell it is a quality product. Just wanted to add that when I first took the mat out of the clear paper that was on it -there was a rotten smell. On the paper it said you could wash it with equal parts of white vinegar and water, then wipe it dry. I did not happen to have any white vinegar at the time so I put it out in my open garage for a few days and the smell went away. So if you get one that smells dont get upset once it is aired it will be ok.
