Greater than one weekI bought this to use my Xbox controller on my Xbox. I plugged it in to my Nintendo Switch and held the button for a few seconds. It started flashing and I held the button on my xbox controller for a few seconds to make it flash too. After literally ten minutes it finally connected. Even then there was noticeable input delay and if I ever turned off the Switch or unplugged the a Adapter, I had to wait another ten minutes for it to pair again. I would only recommend if you dont care about these things and have no usable Nintendo controller.

> 3 dayHad to buy this as version 1 of the adapter (brown colored) does not support series S/X controllers, otherwise, same old adapter and same old good functionality. It has dropped the connection just once in over a month of daily usage, once synced, you can just press the Home button and it will pair with the adapter. It is posible to change input mode, check the manual for for exact combinations. Default will probably work in most cases though. Caveats, software and firmware instalation can be finicky, do not close the error screen (if any) as it will also close the software, just update things as normal and you can forget about updating for months. Despite the shenanigans with the software, I still believe is a great purchase to avoid a more expensive purchase, say, buying a switch pro controller when you have a ps o Xbox control lying around.

> 3 dayI have an 8bitdo SN30 Pro 2 controller that Im using with an older PC that Ive converted into an emulator machine with Batocera as the front end. I tried multiple different Bluetooth dongles and while they technically worked, I would have issues with random connection drop outs and the controller would often not reconnect after a system reboot causing me to have to remove and re-pair the controller. After updating the firmware on the 8bitdo adapter, it paired up to my controller in 8-10 seconds and has consistently paired after up every time. Maybe it just me, but Im noticing less latency as well. Itd be nice if you could pair more than one controller to it but oh well...

> 3 dayWasn’t sure how to use one of these but once I figured it out, everything went smooth. Aside from me actually still not really understanding how to use it but that’s besides the point.

Greater than one weekIf youre looking to fix your switchs horrible Bluetooth range, look no further than this. This makes wireless controls connect and stay connected to the switch. Nice bonus, if you apply the firmware upgrade to this adapter you can also use Bluetooth enabled stadia controllers with the switch.

> 3 dayI use this to play on my PC. It let me use my current Xbox controllers instead of buying a pricy one that has a USB adaptor with it. Great way to save some money and use the controllers you already have.

> 3 dayI wasn’t sure how well it would work on the Switch even though most reviews are positive. This thing works and is awesome. I couldn’t bring my self to buy another controller $70 for the Switch when I already have multiple controllers for my Xbox series. I plugged it in, synced the controller and it was up and running, no problem. Connection is great, you would never know it’s not a controller made for the Switch.

Greater than one weekIve had a Nintendo Switch since 2017, and Ive always wanted to use Playstation controllers with it, as I have a ton of them. After buying one of these, I was able to use my Playstation controller as if it was just a regular Nintendo Switch controller. I highly recommend this product if you have any controllers that dont work with Switch.
