Using this to match up a PS5 controller to a switch : This thing works like bluetooth works in TV ads. press the one button, turn on the controller, boom, were good to go. Honestly a blessing, symmetrical sticks + totk feel so much better than joycons.

The 8Bitdo USB adapter is reliable and easy-to-use that allows you to connect 8Bitdo controllers easily. I was able to set it up easily thanks to its quick link button. The adapter doesnt appear to introduce latency. One downside is the size of the adapter. It is bulkier than a lot of other USB controller adapters on the market and you will have issues fitting more than 2 on a Raspberry Pi. Overall, the 8Bitdo USB adapter 2 is decent and gets the job done. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 for the size.

This was purchased for use in my Playstation classic and indeed right out of the box it was easy to sync and set up. 8 bit do continues to knock it out of the park with their quality and attention to detail.

Bought this for my Nintendo Switch to use my Xbox One controller, I was surprised at how quickly it paired and no input lag when gaming, this is a good buy.

There is the very very rare occasion where my controller connection will drop, and most of the time it picks up automatically after a few seconds but sometimes Ill have to re-pair. A minor inconvenience at beat since it only seems to happen once every few weeks, but 99.8% of the time it works flawlessly. Picks up the controller pretty quickly when you turn it back on, and doesnt seem to add much lag. Just keep in mind that it is fairly bulky, so other bulky cables or adapters next to it might run into clearance issues, but thinner cables should have no issues at all.

Havent always been a fan of 8bitdo but despite that, I will be as rational as possible. This 8bitdo adapter pairs pretty easily to some controllers and thats pretty great on their part. However. For my own use case, I wanted to pair specifically a Wii U pro controller to my Nintendo Switch. Ive tried everything and scoured every video, but nothing. Im convinced the version 2 is different than the first iteration, but either way the console receives zero input. I will be refunding this and would I recommend it? Personally no. This was my last hope and Ive decided to pick up another controller since this does not work for me.

Bought this so I could use my wireless Xbox controller on switch and it works great! Instructions in the box have a QR code to the 8BitDo website which provides software to remap the controls as well which is awesome. Just plug into your PC, pair with your controller and use the software to customize. A few mistakes I made that might help people: -In your Switch settings turn on Pro Controller Wired Communication otherwise it wont work (if you follow the instructions on the website it tells you this) -Make sure your TV is in Game Mode if its an option. I was getting pretty bad input lag and I thought it was this adapter. Switching to Game Mode totally fixed it.

This thing is awesome! The only issue I had was that its not plug and play. If youre using an Xbox Elite 2 controller youll need to update the product using a computer. Had a small issue getting the download to work but after a little bit of digging around the web I figured it out.
