Been playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom using my PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge controller and its amazing! You can remap the controller buttons (including the additional buttons under the pad) for personalized experience. Although temapping the DS Edge requires being on the PS5 XMB but its very easy and quick to connect to the console and back to the 8BitDo. For TotK, Ive mapped the extra buttons to the Switchs B and A buttons for easier running/cancel and parrying/accept.... Ive mapped the ps5 cross button to the switchs X button for easier jumping/paragliding. Its been a great gaming experience with one of the best games ever made!

I dont know with the other reviews why there wasnt a USB area or the fact that it doesnt fit in the back. One just needs to simply take the cover off, and plug in on the side of the dock. It works perfectly! Also, on the settings of the switch, you need to switch the pro controller setting to wired mode on or it wont work.

I used this to connect my PS4 controller to my switch and it works but it required some setup and following a guide. Haven’t tried it with anything else but it does work.

I made a custom Xbox Series X controller to keep in my Tesla but the original 8BITDO adapter didnt support those new controllers......this new V2 adapter does! To get it working in the newer Tesla vehicles (I have a 2022 Model Y) plug it into the glovebox type A port....you can use a USB hub to give yourself more ports for things like an SSD for sentry mode and drive cams, etc.....works fine. Then hit the button on the adapter and on the controller to make them sync. FINAL STEP.....hold down the square in square button on the xbox controller (lower left of main circle xbox button) while holding down the right direction on the D-PAD.....hold these 2 down for 3 seconds and the light on the 8BITDO will blink once....this switches the controller mode I guess? Once you do this, the car will recognize you have a controller and everything works! Its dumb that Tesla doesnt just make it work over bluetooth natively yet, but meh....this $20 fix works.

Havent always been a fan of 8bitdo but despite that, I will be as rational as possible. This 8bitdo adapter pairs pretty easily to some controllers and thats pretty great on their part. However. For my own use case, I wanted to pair specifically a Wii U pro controller to my Nintendo Switch. Ive tried everything and scoured every video, but nothing. Im convinced the version 2 is different than the first iteration, but either way the console receives zero input. I will be refunding this and would I recommend it? Personally no. This was my last hope and Ive decided to pick up another controller since this does not work for me.

It works exactly the way they say it is great. Give one if you need it

I mean, every dongle covers usb ports on either side and even above and below if it’s tight! So I’ve got to get a separate usb hub to plug other stuff in but don’t even have room to plug it in! Ugh, rant over, it’s fine with my pro controller on pc and odroid n2+. If you’ve got to make it so big make it longer not wider like the Xbox dongle.

I bought this to use my Xbox controller on my Xbox. I plugged it in to my Nintendo Switch and held the button for a few seconds. It started flashing and I held the button on my xbox controller for a few seconds to make it flash too. After literally ten minutes it finally connected. Even then there was noticeable input delay and if I ever turned off the Switch or unplugged the a Adapter, I had to wait another ten minutes for it to pair again. I would only recommend if you dont care about these things and have no usable Nintendo controller.

I hate the baby sized Switch remotes and wanted to use my much nicer Xbox version, this adapter works perfectly to allow that. Highly Recommend.
