A little tricky to get working but worked after that. Sticks out from laptop really far though. I don’t thing it should need to be so big when Logitech receivers are like so small.

This thing is awesome. Super easy to use, cool design, and a special bonus feature make it perfect for my use. First, it looks cool with its retro Mario styling. The little coin button for pairing is cool and easy to hit. The best feature of all imo, is that your controller pairs to the device rather than what youve plugged it into. Because of this, I can use my modded ps4 controller on my switch and when its time to do something on pc, just move the dongle over and its ready to go. If theres anything negative to say about this, its that the dongle itself is wider than you think. For example, you couldnt put two of these side-by-side on the switch dock. Not a deal breaker for most, and certainly not enough to lose a star over. Have a controller you like? Use it pretty much anywhere with this little beauty.

I bought this to be able to use macros on a controller. It doesnt tell you there is something like a 20 button limit. It also cant loop the macro, so no removing repotion with this. That said, it still does a good job at getting different remotes connected to different devices

This is super easy to connect to different controllers. I had to scan the QR code to read directions online. I put it in the usb on the side of the switch dock and I have room to also plug in other USB’s to charge controllers in the second one on the side no problem. I’ve Used my Wii U pro controller and my Xbox no problem.

I plugged it into the dock and the lights all worked and was able to get my Xbox one x controller to connect to the dongle itself but it would never be recognized by the switch and I couldnt control anything.

He tenido también adaptadores como el Magic NS y debo decir que el 8Bitdo, a pesar de ser de calidad inferior, le llega a la altura. Gracias a este puedo usar mis controles de Xbox Series en Nintendo Switch!

Upon arrival we updated the 8bitdo then it worked for about 1 week then just stopped working for no reason. We updated it again then nothing would fix it.

I love the product and when working properly it’s a great alternative to buying an actual pro controller. Setup was easy and was about as plug and play as you can get with a device like this. The only downside is the constant disconnects. I’m currently playing tears of the kingdom using my Xbox series X controller. During a 6-8 hour play session the controller will disconnect at least 4 times. Usually about the time it takes for the controller to reconnect to the Xbox. About 5 seconds. Other than that, if you don’t play as long as I do and you can deal with the short disconnects, I would say this is a good buy.

I have an 8bitdo SN30 Pro 2 controller that Im using with an older PC that Ive converted into an emulator machine with Batocera as the front end. I tried multiple different Bluetooth dongles and while they technically worked, I would have issues with random connection drop outs and the controller would often not reconnect after a system reboot causing me to have to remove and re-pair the controller. After updating the firmware on the 8bitdo adapter, it paired up to my controller in 8-10 seconds and has consistently paired after up every time. Maybe it just me, but Im noticing less latency as well. Itd be nice if you could pair more than one controller to it but oh well...

despite what some reviews say, this DOES work with my elite series 2 controller. even the paddles work. yo DO have to update the firmware of the dongle though. so you will need a laptop, pc, or something to update it.
