> 24 hourMy AIRCOM T8 blows warm air toward the back. I put it in an entertainment center where the receiver (and the T8) are in a compartment with glass door and a rectangular cutout in the back as big as the receivers back plus the T8s back. I barely fit both of them in this compartment. The receiver is quite high; there is little room left on the top with the T8 in place, and there are about 2-3 inches on both sides. The width and depth of the T8 match those of my receiver. The back of the T8 is right at the edge of the back opening of the cabinet, so most of the warm air should exhaust right out of the cabinet. That should meet the cabinet requirement for the T8. I use the Smart mode with max speed of 3 bars and buffer size of 2 degrees F. I am able to keep the probed temperature around 87 degrees F with medium-low volume on the receiver. Higher volume will cause the probed temperature to rise beyond 87. It rose to 90+ at some point when the volume is medium high (60 on a Denon X3300W) for a few hours of karaoke. Leaving the glass door open helps keep the probed temperature lower. I just have to remember to open the door each time I do medium-high volume.

> 24 hourGreat product. Keeps my Yamaha receiver at 84 degrees in closed entertainment center. Cut slots in back to allow the fans to push hot air out. No heat issues

> 24 hourVery happy with this purchase. My receiver was in a closed in cabinet and was getting very hot. I combine this with a rear exhaust fan and it definitely keeps things very cool. I would definitely recommend buying this unit as it has a digital display. And it doesnt cost too much more than the similar unit without the digital display.

> 24 hourI have had the T8 for about a week. I have it on my Oppo UDP-205 which was giving off a significant amount of heat during certain operations. The T8 was easy to set up and is working like a champ. The fan is very quite as well.

> 24 hourI am extremely satisfied with this device so far. (I have been using it for 3 days now) In the past I have experienced multiple issues with equipment failure due to excessive heat inside the cabinet. It appears as though this will be my solution

> 24 hourThis unit is a welcome addition to my media center equipment. I should have purchased this years ago. It would have probably saved my Onkyo receiver from overheating the dts/DD decoder chip and desoldering itself, causing no sound coming from the power amps. I’ve been using this cooler now for several weeks and so far it is keeping the temperature below 90 degrees. The build quality is excellent. The only issue is that the fans can be a little loud at times even though speed is set to just 3 bars. Other than that I highly recommend this unit.

> 24 hourWorks great could be a little more quiet, even though its enclosed in a cabinet I can still hear the fan motors.
