> 3 dayThis product was used to cool an AVR that was running ‘hot’. It kept the temperature at 85degF consistently, but at higher fan speeds makes quite a bit of noise. The noise is not unobtrusive, but can be heard if the unit is

06-06-2025Ive owned this product for about a year and a half, and its outstanding. Plug it in, set it, and forget it. Does exactly what its supposed to - keep the expensive audio receiver cool, and at a low volume. Havent had to touch it since. I highly recommend!

> 3 dayI have this on top of a home theater receiver to extract the hot air generated by the receiver. The receiver temp was at 95 degrees without the fan. When the fan came on, within 10 minutes, the temp dropped to 84 degrees and the unit is very quiet. Does not interfere with tv listening .

Greater than one weekproduct works as advertised. My Marantz is now much happier when movies are playing at reference level volume!

Quick and Dirty
> 3 dayThese units are great, but there is about a ~3/8 inch gap from the feet, so rather than pulling air only through the component, its moving air right above the component. This works pretty well, but introducing some weather stripping makes it work even better. I used this https://amzn.to/3J0u2NP. Just put some along the perimeter and then sit the unit back on your component. The cooling effectiveness will be a night and day difference. Highly recommend. By the way, the 10ft roll of weather stripping I linked above is enough to make gaskets for 2 of these units with about 6 inches left over.

> 3 dayIve had this unit for almost two years and its been perfect up to the past few months when I heard a repetitive yet intermittent squeak. I tried blowing compressed air into the fans to spray the dust out, which helped for a short term, but eventually the noise returned. I reached out to AC Infinity expecting them to basically tell me to just blow harder, but instead ended up speaking with rep Michelle who was really easy to work with. After a request for some information labeled on the unit, she stated she will send me a new one and to send the one I have to them. Honestly I figured there would be a lot of back and forth followed by frustration but Michelle made the process so easy that I felt I was the one starting to make things difficult. So bottom line, the unit works great although I do wish the noise level was quieter, but the service is fantastic! Big thank you to Michelle for taking care of me!
