> 3 dayThis is my second unit where the fans do not exhaust at the same rate.

> 3 dayUsed the smart mode and I adjusted the fan speed to a lower setting because of the noise. However, the unit gets to its 4 degree spread between the probe temp and the set temp and CONTINUALLY cycles on and off when the receiver is in the standby mode. When the receiver is on and generating heat it seems better. Plan on going back to auto mode. Its a sleek design that fits nicely in my rack but its noisy at the highest fan speed. It would be better if this unit had a remote to turn it on and off with the rest of the equipment.

Greater than one weekMy clearances with the AC Infinity cooler atop my AV receiver, nestled in the confined space of my TV stands shelf leaves only about 1/2 space, but the rear exhaust works great in this case. Without any supplemental cooling, previously the top of my AV receiver was measuring 102 to 104 degrees using a hand-held infrared thermometer, not a good sign for long component life. After installing the AC Infinity Aircom T8, it holds the temperature at 82 degrees using only up to speed 2 of the six available speeds, and turns itself off once the receiver cools to ambient, also a nice feature. Speed 2 is very quiet in my opinion, and is easily masked by the regular sounds of the TV. If it should ever get hotter for some reason, the higher speeds will automatically kick in to take care of it!

> 3 dayIt keeps my receiver at a pretty constant temperature. I told a friend of mine whos a HUGE audiophile nut and after buying one he bought 7 or 8 more for all his high end equipment! Which says something to me.

> 3 dayPlaced in an enclosed media center 10 feet away from seating position, I can hear the fans when its on low setting over my projector fan thats 2.5ft from my head (to load for home theaters without dedicated equipment rooms). Ive built custom computers since 2002 and have never had computer case sound that load with more air flow. (my assumption is the chassis design is causing an echo)

> 3 dayIt cools off my Denon 8500. I have it in a multimedia cabinet that is open to the back. It is noiser than I was anticipating. Play with the settings until you get what you want.

> 3 dayThis is a very well constructed unit. Everything about this exudes quality. It setup is very easy because they present a very straight forward instruction set. There are many front panel options and all are easily entered through its front panel buttons. If you are looking... ACInfinity is where its at. Could not be happier with the product

Greater than one weekI recently bought Marantz SR6013 AVR, I was concerned about the heat issue, this unit was recommended at AVS forum. my AVR is in basement which is usually not that hot, i bought this unit for peace of mind, from packaging to build quality everything is top notch. setup is very easy, I set it up to smart mode. fan is loud if runs full speed with no sound from speakers, I have not heard sound fro fan while watching tv and have speakers on. this unit looks like it is designed form Marantz AVR. no more ugly noisy fans to cool AVR, it add money but it will extend the life of AVR.

> 3 dayI really like AC Infinity fan. If I would’ve known, I should have bought when I had my first Sony receiver. I think my Sony receiver gave out due to overheating issues. Now, I have a Denon AVR S970H and I want my electronics to last forever. I will highly recommend this product.
