> 3 dayI very much wanted to like this unit. It is a great concept. Heat is the enemy of electronics, and although I was experiencing no overheating with my equipment, additional cooling is always a good idea. For me, the problem was noise. The unit was simply too noisy, and I could hear the fan noise in the quieter parts of a movie easily. Had to return it for that reason.

> 3 daysetting it up requires paying attention to the instruction booklet as the few front panel keys are reused for different settings... I basically leave it along and its been great keeping by Denon AVR in a much cooler state. very happy with this

> 3 dayVery nice design. Looks great and the functionality is excellent. Its very loud though. My receiver is in a cabinet with an open back. I can hear the fans with the doors closed when the fans are at 25% speed or more. The device is indeed effective - no question it does the job. Just wish it wasnt so loud.

> 3 dayI installed this item less than a week ago. In 6 days the fan failure alert started beeping and blinking, by looking at the underside of the item i could see 1 of the 3 fans was not working. im just starting the return process. Ill update with the results.

> 3 dayVery well built and well designed component fan. Very easy to set up the preferences as well. Nice addition to my home theater. Using this for my AMP, but may add another one for my receiver!

> 3 dayIt is very nice to use, especially like the flexibility of programing it and seeing the temperature being drawn from the A/V receiver. I taped the gap between the AIRCOM and the receiver so the air is drawn directly from the upper vents of the receiver. This raised the reading on the AIRCOM, which means it was moving more heated air from the receiver, therefore, more cooling benefit.
