> 3 dayThe AIRCOM T8 works like a charm in keeping my Yamaha receiver cool (RX-A3080). In the past I have had Yamaha receivers shut down to save themselves from overheating. This has not happened once since Ive had the T8. I am very happy with it except as another reviewer stated, it scrambles the FM signal. This would not have bothered me too much except now that I am working from home I cannot listen to the radio all day like I did when I was in the office. I tried using Ferrite Core Beads as AC Infinity suggested but that did not work. The T8 works so well I have given up listening to the radio on my receiver and use my computer instead until we go back to work. The unit is slim, attractive and easy to set up.

Greater than one weekI purchased the Aircom T8 in early April 2017. Ive had it installed for almost two months now, and it works great! I wish I had bought it years ago. I have a Denon AVR-S900W that has alway run hot. The Denon is located inside an entertainment console that has glass front doors and to help dissipate the heat I would always open the glass doors and turn on the ceiling fan on high whenever the Denon was turned on. I dont have to do that anymore.

Greater than one weekAccurate when the cooling fans come on within 2 degrees of the threshold that you choose or leave the fans on constantly. They are quiet enough not to interfere which most musical passages. I have it hooked to a Hafler Pro5000 that has a single cooling fan installed next to the PC board. I believe its 80cfm and does help, but the amp gets very hot after an hour or so. I took the top cover of the amp off and laid the 3 fan AIRCON on top. Sucks hot air, measured with a probe whenever the and auto turns the fans on or off depending on your threshold setting. I think 6 different speeds with the fans....I use the third speed and it keeps the amp at 85 degrees with no strain. The heat is exhausted to the rear of the unit. The price is reasonable and the quality is there......I love it and would recommend buyers with older high powered amp to consider purchasing one. The reduction in heat build up inside the amp will add years of useful service.

> 3 dayfeels bigger form factor than most AMP/Receivers, making it look odd sitting on top.

> 3 dayBought this to work with my new Marantz receiver. I dropped a load on the receiver and had a friend plus reviews tell me that those receivers run hot and they will simply shut down to protect themselves. The unit sits on top of the receiver and pulls the warm air out of the vents and blows out of the back of my entertainment center. I spent a few days adjusting the temperature to where I want it so the receiver stays cool but doesnt need to run the fans on high all the time to do it. The fans are really quiet too. When the door is shut and sound all the way down you cant hear them running. A little extra money on top of my investment but I feel its well worth.

> 3 dayExcellent. Does what it says and looks good doing it. At fan speeds above 2, its louder than I hoped but speed 2 seems to be all my AVR needs to keep it running comfortably cool.

Greater than one weekThe top of my AV processor used to heat up and peak around 91-92°F. With the T8 on top, the temperature started at 80°F with a fan speed at 1 and peaked at 85°F with the fan speed at 2. When the listening room was quiet at 33dB, the fans were barely audible at their low speed of 1 from my listening position 15.5 feet away. Fan speed 2 started getting a bit distracting. Overall, this performance was good, but not great. 4 star rating at this point; not quite 5. So I did a few tweaks:

> 3 dayExcellent unit. Fit in tight spot above my av receiver. Very quiet. Kept the temperature at or below my target temp. No issues.
