> 3 dayI have a Marantz 7010 and the Aircom T8 not only compliments the design of my AVR but it keeps my unit cool.

> 3 dayThe T8 is a bit quieter than my original S9, which developed a very noisy fan after 2 years and 10 months. Not as much airflow (smaller fans) on the T8 but the bigger ones on the S9 were overkill anyway on my Marantz SR7012. I also added 1/2 adhesive weather stripping between the Marantz and AIRCOM for 100% sealed flow between the units - works perfectly! The T8 rear exhaust was a also better solution than the top exhaust in my open-air application. I did read comments about the display brightness so I had a plan to add a grey filter when ordering. Very satisfied with my purchase and customer service.

> 3 dayGreat cooling unit. Really heavy and well built. The price is reasonable and the quality is good.

Greater than one weekI added an AIRCOM T8 and S7 for two of my receivers recently and wonder why I never thought to add fan systems before. And these AIRCOM fans do their job well without undue noise. If you have good equipment—particularly receivers or amplifiers—do them a solid and keep them cool.

> 3 dayI bought both the T-8 and T-9 and tested them on a 1983-vintage Sherwood S-6040CP 100 watts RMS dual mono power amp that, like other MOSFET amps of that era, runs hot. I tested both the T-8 and T-9 on top of the amp, which sits on top of the cabinet with no obstructions to air intake. Settings: Smart mode, target temp 85 degrees, and Level 2 maximum fan speed. I can hear Level 2 when listening to quiet music like solo piano, and Level 3 is too loud. Level 1 is almost inaudible even up close.

> 3 dayIt blows so much heat of my receiver heat that would just sit there and eventually make the receiver fail...

> 3 dayI just installed the unit on top of my Denon 4500h AVR. So no real drive time to analyze. I like the look of the unit and the multiple modes to control fan use. ONLY knock at this point is the bulky AC plug. If plugging this into a power unit or other thin component in a tight space, this plug is a hassle. Either have to find an outlet outside of the cabinet, use an extension from your power unit, etc. to find more space.
