AC Infinity AIRCOM T8, Quiet Cooling Blower Fan System 17 Rear-Exhaust for Receivers, Amps, DVR, AV Cabinet Components

This product does what it is supposed to do - it keeps your amplifier or receiver cool. However, it does so at the cost of making quite some noise. If you didnt tuck your receiver away in some special, noise insulated, closet, this product is NOT for you.

I was not sure if this product was going function. It looks great and does a fantastic job of keeping my AV receiver operating at a cool temperature. It really does!

Great device! I have it on top of a rack server with the top case off and the AC Finity in top of it blowing air in directly to all the components, hard drives won’t go over 40 degrees and the whole case is very cool to the touch. I’m very pleased with this device I would recommend it to everyone!

Placed in an enclosed media center 10 feet away from seating position, I can hear the fans when its on low setting over my projector fan thats 2.5ft from my head (to load for home theaters without dedicated equipment rooms). Ive built custom computers since 2002 and have never had computer case sound that load with more air flow. (my assumption is the chassis design is causing an echo)

Got a new receiver to go from a 5.2 to 5.2.4 system. Originally put the receiver in to tight a space in my entertainment console and it heated up like an oven. I reworked the shelving to give it more space and bought the T8 fan to exhaust out the rear of the unit. With the smart fan the temp doesnt exceed 84 degrees even at high volume. I restrict the fans to a speed setting of 2 to reduce noise and it still does an excellent job.

My recently acquired AC Infinity AIRCOM T8 is every bit the professional grade piece of hardware I expected. Quiet and extremely well designed and built! Typically my Onkyo RZ830would generate 115 degrees or so at the top of the device. Adding the T8, set at 84 degrees, will reach set temp within minutes and hold it all day. A solid addition to my system!
