Greater than one weekMeh. I bought this to keep my new Marantz receiver cool. While it does keep the temperature down, I thought it was going to be really quiet, but I can hear it as the fan cycles on and off even though I have it set to only go to the second slowest step on the fan speed. If you set it to the highest speed, it sounds like a jet engine. Thinking it was defective, I was sent a second one that sounds pretty much the same. I guess thats just how these units are. Im not very impressed. The other annoying thing is that in Smart mode with the temp set to 90 degrees, it cycles the fan on and off in just a few seconds and the temp goes from 88 to 87, back and forth. If the movie or music you are listening to has a quiet section, youll hear the fans going on and off repeatedly.

Greater than one weekI’ve been using this cooler paired with a Marantz SR7011 and it does exactly what it’s supposed to. According to the digital readout, it never exceeds 89 degrees. So it operates 76-89 even dialed up to 3/4 volume with ch.levels and input levels fairly high as well.

> 3 dayInitially Amazon sent me a used unit; likely a return. Box showed signs of being opened, interior packing was not right and finger prints all over the metal case. I returned it and received an unopened and obviously new replacement from Amazon within a few days.

> 3 dayOverall the unit works great but it is far from quiet and the temp sensor is off by 10 degrees. Fortunately our AV cabinet has glass doors so the sound doesnt end up bothering us.

Greater than one weekWorks very well keeping my Marantz SR7005 High Power a/v receiver operating temp cool. The thermostatic fan control is excellent. The programmable features work very well, the fans are very quiet in proportion to the cooling that they provide. All in all I am very happy with my purchase. Just purchased a new Marantz SR 6011 and I purchased a second unit for that receiver. The sr 7005 is now acting as an extrernal Amp in a dolby atmos 11.1 setup. was able to Bi-Amp my front speakers and add a wide set of surround speakers using the SR 7005. And both units are running cool and performing with excellence. The peace of mind about freedom from overheat problems when driving the system hard is great and the equipment will last longer due to lower operating temps !

> 3 dayI have an Onyko TX SR706. They do run hot. This receiver is 12 yrs old. I have been cooling it with a Cooler guy set up that worked really well. The digits on the programmer all started to go out. In comes the AIRCOM T8. This unit works great. Never gets hot. Gets to about 95. I have the alarm set to 110. Doesnt ever reach that. I have the fan running on the second speed. 4th and 5th speed are a little noisy With all that, It looks great.

Greater than one weekHave been running this for about a week on my home theater receiver, and its doing an excellent job at keeping temps down. Simple to setup, very easy to change settings. It looks very good - like it belongs there. Fans are very effective at getting rid of the heat, but on the top fan setting it could be noisy if it was in an open cabinet. I have a glass door on the front of my server rack, so the noise doesnt really make it to me. Still, there are fan settings that are very quiet.
