> 24 hourMy 10 year old son got this for Christmas and he loves it! He needs to start typing papers on google classroom and this is by far the best chrome book thus far as my two other sons have another brand....

> 24 hourI love this device for the fact that it is light and versatile. However, even with that it still gets the job done in terms of performance for its price. With Android apps it is easy to use Microsoft Office seamlessly with Googles Office Suite. For more intense computing needs this is not the machine you need, but if you are looking for a basic laptop for basic work use, this is a great bargain. Got a recommendation from The Verge and they always can steer you in the right direction.

> 24 hourThese little chromebooks pack a lot for the money when they are new, but they have a short shelf life. I am on my third Acer in 5 years and each has developed operating problems soon after the manufacturers warranty period ended. But when I used to buy more expensive laptops, they also developed problems after the first year or two. The cost of repairs or even the purchase of extended warranties can be nearly as much as the price of a new R-11, so until the technology takes a quantum leao, Ill just keep buying these or theit equivalent. They are fine for basic surfing, writing, and streaming, and my long term hardware cost averages out about the same.

> 24 hourI have been on this computer CONSTANTLY for the past 2 years or so. I am also a demon with how many tabs I keep open all the time. This chromebook is quiet, doesnt overheat even in bed, no lagging, no damage (even though I use it in the kitchen), EVEN THE CORD IS IN PERFECT CONDITION!! I am such a nitpicky person that sees the worst in everything and this is the only object in my life that I have not had a SINGLE complaint or issue with after knowing it for 2 years. The future I want is for all prodcucts to be made with this quality

> 24 hourLove this machine!! Only issue has been a battery charging max to 88%. After doing some reserch online, seems like a Chrome OS bug issue. Battery still strong enough for all day use.

> 24 hourGreat little device. Does everything it says it does. Runs Chrome, runs Chrome apps, Chrome extensions, all very well. Android apps work relatively well for the most part; some are buggy but Android support is still in beta so its to be expected. My big issue with this device which brings it down a star is the touchscreen is... not very good. I actually sent my unit back in for a replacement because I thought it was defective, however I had the same issue with the replacement. Its not a dealbreaker, just an annoyance - sometimes when you tap the screen, it registers as a tap-and-hold. So the app thinks youre holding your finger down on the screen until you tap again to release it. Its very sporadic, not happening at all on some days, and then happening on every other tap on other days; no rhyme or reason. Again, not a dealbreaker, but something Ive learned to just be patient with.
