Very nice. Fast, feature rich. No other OS needed ever. If you find yourself asking, Why does this take so long? Another update!?, well if youve asked, Chrome OS is the answer.

Removal of parental control options by Google has made this a bad choice of device for my son. I like using it - but that is not why I bought it.

So far Im delighted with this purchase (Ive had it only a month). It is lightweight, compact, and very easy to get used to. I particularly appreciate the battery life and the speed at which it recharges.

Mine came defective. The screen would not turn on at all. The blue light indicates its on but the screen stays dark regardless of editing lighting or charging. Sad.

I am a tech/gadget junkie...Ill put that right out there. I like Windows....but not on a small touchscreen/convertible. I really like this Chromebook. It boots fast, is responsive (the touchscreen is just a tiny bit wonky closing tabs at times), and is powerful enough for browsing, streaming, and productivity tasks. Will it replace a full laptop? Heck no. I use it as my bed/travel web machine (I like to have a small touchscreen for reading/browsing in bed). It has good battery life, a nice bright and clear screen, and its light.

This is a wonderful device. The touch screen is very easy to use and my son has been very happy with it. The keyboard is nice and responsive and the screen is clear and bright. The battery life is actually longer than I expected. Unfortunately, the wifi keeps dying on an irregular basis. It will work for a day or two and then die for a week. That makes a Chromebook less useful than it would otherwise be as a laptop, but more useful as a doorstop. We can use it at home with a wifi to USB dongle, but it is useless out of the home. Too bad, because the workmanship seems to be quite good from the outside.

I am using this as a glorified tablet. touch screen very responsive. Great for viewing video. The screen is bright and vibrant. Excellent battery life. heavier than a 10 inch tablet, but I knew this going into the purchase. I love the 360 spin of keyboard and screen this makes it easy and convient for viewing by self supporting. Extra memory is a plus. I would recommend for the price.
