> 3 dayBought this back in 2017 as a prime day deal. This has been one of my best purchases on amazon yet! This computer met all my needs and has not diminished in quality or usability at all in the last 3 years. Touch screen still works perfect, no loss of function or stability to the convertible aspect of the screen. Battery life is still amazing after 3 years of use as well which is unlike any other electronic device I’ve owned! I swear it works like it’s still brand new and battery lasts for days! Now I haven’t been using this device constantly or even every day so maybe that’s a big part of why it’s kept it’s quality so well over the years. I’ve accidentally left it plugged in for days many many times and it still hasn’t ruined the battery life when not plugged in. The size is small and perfect but does take some adjustment when typing on it since the keyboard is obviously smaller. The inability to print from a chrome book is honestly the only thing that annoys me. But I can simply save documents etc to google drive and then print it from my smartphone. I’ve had no problem running multiple apps, games and multiple internet pages. I’ve even used it to watch Netflix and it does this flawlessly as well. Overall this is an amazing laptop and I will definitely buy another convertible chrome book after this one is no longer usable.

> 3 dayThe unit itself still functions but the touch screen functionality has failed in under 3 months. It literally just stopped working as I was using it. None of the self help Acer solutions have solved the problem.

21-04-2025After several trys by techs not able to get the Chromebook to connect with my Epson printer. After two and half days finally gave up. Even contacted the google tech person who was suppopse to get back to me after they tried to connect the printer, I finally gave on them also after waiting for them for over four hours. Contactted them on Aug 8th at advice from my tech person. Other than that it seems to do ok.

Greater than one weekVery well built notebook. You get everything you could expect at this price point. Its a very handy machine so long as you agree with the Chrome OS concept

> 3 dayI owned a venerable 2013 Acer C720 and wanted to upgrade to a touchscreen Android enable Chromebook. The C720 was a great machine but was ready for a better screen, the touch experience as well as the Android integration. I first bought the new Samsung Plus but returned it for the following reasons: Flawed track pad, weak speakers and under powered processor. I then chose the R11 and report that it has been flawless on all fronts. Despite some people complaining about the track pad, it works fine as long as you use tap to select rather than click to select. Speakers are plenty loud and the processor is MUCH more powerful than the Samsungs. At a fraction of the price this little beast is a winner. Just make sure you buy the 4 gigs of Ram, seems like most complaints are always focused on the 2 gig model. Android integration has a few bugs to iron out but for its a good start.

Greater than one weekI was extremely excited to get this Chromebook, even paid extra for priority shipping all the way to Singapore. In the 12h since unboxing the laptop it has frozen up 3x on me already. Having to constantly restart my laptop for no apparent reason seems quite unreasonable.
