I thought wow what a steal for the price, a 1TB SSD, a 17 inch screen? Received the Laptop in 2 days, unboxed it and admired the look, plugged it in and nothing. Plugged it in again and….. nothing. Called Amazon and was told I would need to call the manufacturer. I had to state to the person that I was not going to do that and that I wanted to return it. The representative then said I would receive a gift card and again I had to say no and that I wanted a full refund.

Cannot review properly cause unit was dead on arrival. Would not power on

Wont run any games except for minecraft. I talked to customer service and they walked me through checking to see if graphics card was working(it wasnt). Now computer says everything is running perfectly but still, no games will work. Save your money and dont buy this computer. Dont be cheap like me and put the extra money towards a computer that will work. ( btw i cannot get a refund unless i send it to texas and they cannot repair it there. I dont wanna potentially damage the computer even further through mail, so complete waste of money)

I was a bit apprehensive at first because Ive never owned a gaming pc or laptop. However I was very impressed with the screen resolution and speed of the laptop. I bought for mostly smaller games that dont take much to run but I did play my favorite fps Apex legends just to see how it ran, and it ran great. Ive been playing fps games for years on consoles and didnt know what to expect. I cant even imagine how high end pcs run. Im very happy with my acer and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is just starting in the pc gaming arena.

Laptop battery indicator didnt even light up when plugged in. Tested on multiple outlets to be sure it wasnt that power strip. No dice. Total dud. Box was within manufacturers box cushioned, but was then packaged in a larger box just... sliding around. I dont blame the harried workers making subpar wages and getting a pittance of benefits forced to scramble to get product out. Union strong, but man this was a bummer.

The Acer Nitro 5 has become the benchmark for budget gaming laptops. This is the second that Ive owned; the last one with AMD CPU and GPU was cascaded to my granddaughter after a happy year of gaming. So whats the latest unit like.
