As i know nothing about computer, i had a friend who does recommend this as a good quality gaming laptop based on the specs, so i purchased it.

it gets warm playing games i have the marks on my legs to prove it and you cant upgrade without voiding the warranty but its a really good value and ive been really happy with it and you can upgrade after 2 years and i highly recommend the assurance insurance

Got mine and started playing my very first game on it. Temp went up to 200 and the fans were blowing loud. I turned the fans up to max (Making a pretty good amount of white noise in my living room) and the temp sunk to 160~165 for a little while. I went back to playing hitman 2 and eventually the fans just couldnt keep up. the keys on the keyboard kept getting more and more uncomfortable. contacted their technical support and got well you can send to us and we will look to see if anything is wrong with it That inspired no confidence in me that they would fix anything or make any difference. Contacted Amazon support and they suggested use the integrated GPU instead of the dedicated GPU as a fix. I immediately decided that i was not going to get my moneys worth from this computer and started the complete refund task. Waste of time in my opinion.

ADVICE: IF YOU BUY THIS LAPTOP, IMMEDIATELY UPDATE THE INTEL SSD FIRMWARE AND DRIVERS. The Intel SSD Toolbox software thats freely available on Intels website should identify and fix the issues I had before they cause you the same headache.

I planned to use this laptop for gaming, but the cooling in the laptop is not effective enough to cool all of the parts. I get frequent frame drops even in games like rocket league and counter strike go on modest settings. The specs at this price are too good to be true. Also, after a month of moderate use, one of the hinges used to open and close the laptop has come out of its framing, which wasn’t due to any dropping. I should’ve returned it when I could’ve.

Great gaming laptop for a great price! My son has been saving his money for a Gaming laptop and this is the first one to fit all his desired specs- we did purchase a 1TB hard drive that was super easy to install! Great laptop, great graphics!
