Great gaming laptop. This laptop has a great processor and graphics card that supports extreme graphics workloads and extremely fast FPS. The only downside is the laptop pretty hot extremely fast. I’ve tried different thermal paste’s and adding laptop fans to keep the temperatures low however they have yet to do so. After an hour or so of gaming my laptop heat throttles at 96 degrees which is too hot and can damage the components. Great specs but this mode gets too hot.

I solely bought this back in late 2018 because it had VR Ready plastered everywhere. I notice the pictures now are missing that sticker but mine still has it. No Display Port means no PC VR support other than thee first gen headsets. Not thunderbolt USB insures theres no work around for the issue. This might be a good thing since this laptop already feels like its going to burst into flames after playing a game with decent graphics after about 20 minutes. That being said, it does run higher end games surprisingly well. Just dont plan to press any keys above the W row without gloves.

laptop works fine, runs everything in good quality, only down side is the heating issue, but it can be fix with undervolting the cpu and gpu using throttlestop app, look for instruction on youtube, went from 90 degrees celsius to 60 while gaming

Loving this laptop so far. Great gaming performance. However as others stated it runs hot. It seems all laptops with this processor have this issue, its a chip that runs hot. The best solution Ive (and others) have found is too use a program called throttlestop and undervolt the I7 8750H a little bit. It wont hurt the chip or performance at all and now under max load my CPU never goes above 85C. There are plenty of tutorials online to show you how to do it. I do highly recommend this laptop.

Best computer ever!!!

Ive had this for about a month and have had no issues. Performance-wise it runs great! Flawless operation with all the in-game graphic settings maxed.

This thing said VR ready but IS NOT compatible with Oculus Rift...!!!! WHAT THE HELL?!!!! And theres no way to return it... SO PISSED!

Laptop working grade so fast and nice

Power supply started to randomly fail under heavy load I.E. gaming. after a year and a half of using this laptop, thermal paste was applied as well as proper cleaning procedures monthly. It was good when it worked but it didn’t for long. I’m a little disappointed in the durability of this laptop

So far so good. Ive had it for about a week now and its worked pretty well. The display is beautiful. It does run warm but all gaming laptops do. Mine has maintained acceptable temps for both the CPU and GPU. A cooling pad is certainly required but thats the case for all gaming laptops.
