> 24 hourIf you get this computer be prepared to run the alienware command center computer support checkup 10x in the first week. It needs updates to fix alot of reasons people have been complaining for the last year+. I got a bootup blue screen when it didnt process my game correctly and had to hardboot the system ran the alienware command center asap and yep another driver needed to be updated. Basically everytime I hit an issue I would rinse repeatedly this process. It now works fine. I however dont like its sleep mode it will Rev up slightly and make a click noise every hour or so. I sleep with it in my room super annoying I just shut it down completely now. It does not like some modding programs specifically wemod + gta. It will black screen for a couple minutes after exiting a game and give you a horror show feeling when you worry it wont leave the black screen. If I would have known all these issues probably wouldnt have bought it but it runs great when playing games so its a trade off. *update* I ended up returning this before it was to late to return it after it started shutting down randomly on sims 4 game. At this point I was checking for updates every 2-3 days and the glitches continued. Never had so many issues with an alienware this would have been my 3rd. Decided I wasnt going to have a new computer that was to high maintenance. Kinda thinking I may try a different brand after this experience.

> 24 hourThe computer meets my needs for performance. The problem is Dell. Dell migrate that came with the PC did not work well. it transferred my files but I didnt know were to. Then every time there is a Dell update it does not go smooth. Ive gotten to where every time I see that the lights have changed back to the default color I cuss Dell.

> 24 hourthis has been an amazing PC since i got it, i had a little issue with Windows 11 but was able to fix that by jumping back down to windows 10. Overall, everything i throw at this thing has worked with no issues at all. I mainly play GTA RP, COD, Fortnite and right now i picked up sea of thieves. I play on high settings and get around 90-120 FPS. I do think the ram could be upgraded a little bit and would look into getting 32GBs right away.

> 24 hourI’ve been waiting 25 years to get my hands on an Alienware system. This one does not disappoint. It’s system fans barely hum during normal games and speed up only slightly during a game set to Ultra graphics settings. For years, I’ve had to check game requirements to see if my computer could run the minimum specs(?). Now, that’s no longer a concern. I can run any game I want and at maximum settings.

> 24 hourPlug and play, 3080 handles everything with ease(video editing/ games/ tools). You can play any game on 1440p getting above 150 to 200 fps. New case and liquid cooling is great for thermals. You also get 1 year dell warranty not sure why there are some negative reviews, I mean you get a dead pc, return it or check with dell. Dell support gets your drivers and softwares up-to date. The new case is awesome and looks crazy. Get it before they’re gone, you won’t regret this purchase.

> 24 hourI e been an Intel user for my entire PC life but couldn’t afford the bump from $3000 to $5000 for the Ryzan 9 box to be an Intel I9 box even with the higher end Nvidia RTx

> 24 hourI bought this R14 box NOT because I wanted it for gaming, although it does that VERY well, but primarily because I needed it for post processing of large photo images. A system I built for myself sometime ago died an ugly death and I decided to buy a system rather than build one, especially since parts arent easy to get. Ive used Linux (OpenSuse) rather than MickySoft for years, and tried to install that replacing the Bloze 11 that was on the R14. OpenSuse didnt like the Ethernet card that is in the R14 so I installed Ubuntu with a bunch of add-ons. Ubuntu doesnt like to play with the Ethernet well either however, I was able to add my wireless modem. The R14 is not only very fast on the Net, but EXTREMELY quick in handling large photos, which I keep in the tiff format using The Gimp. My only complaint is that theres no way to control (read that change) the LEDS on/in the R14 as Dell didnt put that in firmware but software and there isnt a Linux app. to do that.

> 24 hourSo backstory I have been looking at upgrading my PC for a while now. I have built a PC before but with the prices of components right now and wait times I decided to go with Alienware. Alienware was not my first choice but I have to say I am so glad I went with them over Cyberpower. The 18-month no interest payments on this machine make it all the more worth it. After ordering it arrived on a Friday. I got home took it out of the box and this thing was VERY well packaged. No damage to anything except the outside of the box having normal wear and tear from shipping. Straight out of the box I plugged it up and downloaded a few select games to test it. First game was Call of Duty Warzone. I have to say I was so impressed on how this PC ran this game. CPU stayed at around 68 C and GPU around 68-70 C on all maxxed out graphics. Everything was super smooth and just everything I wanted. If I had to complain about anything it would more than likely be Windows 11 only because it does have small stutters at time which is common from what I have read. The only issue I have encountered with the PC itself was on my brothers that he ordered (we ordered the exact same pc got it on the same day) and the front panel lights on the tower had went out and would not come back on. I contacted dell support and they did a remote connection. Within 10 minutes Gabriel Hernandez had the front panels back on and going. This ended up being a Bios update issue. The way he handled himself made me have a total different outlook on dell support. I have to say I do not regret my purchase and this experience has really given me a different outlook on Alienware itself. If you are on the fence on whether or not you want to risk buying a prebuilt my opinion is to do it!

> 24 hourNot enough ram. It only has 16 gigs of ram. Not enough storage. It only has 512 Gts SSD. The only 1TB device is a spinner. The networking adaptor is garbage. It slows down, and drops connection, nearly three times a day. Frustrating when youre trying to use Flight Simulator 2020s photogrametry scenery, and next thing you know, it switches you to offline mode, and you lose all your weather data, and the scenery goes to crummy looking auto-gen that looks nothing like what you were flying over. Sick of it. I now have to look for a network adapter. The graphics card, which I got this machine for, is an Nvidia RTX 3070, which is pretty good. Only wish I ACTUALLY had access to all the ram. Dell have slouched, and slipped back to shared ram, which really holds you back. Youre better off building your own machine, IF you can find the parts.
