> 24 hourFor the price I bought it $100 usd, this chip has preformed great, it’s overlocked well( yours may not) and can tear through all workloads I give it. However for just gaming I’d say get a 3100 or 3300x as it’s much quicker for that, and with 5000 series out the 3000 series chips should drop in price next year so I’d hold off unless you need this now.

> 24 hourI like the fact that it is no longer necessary to attach the heat sink with a mouse trap being involved. When I would install the old AM2 and AM3 based processors, you had to delicately manipulate the old clip system that was used to attach the heat sink and fan onto the processor. Hurt my fingers more than once doing that. With the combination of the Ryzen motherboard that I used, I only had to unscrew the old processor frame, install the new Ryzen based processor frame, and then simply use a mount and screw process. I also like the size of the fan and heatsink combo. Doesnt necessarily require buying an upgraded fan heat sink combo just to get the system built. You can put together the initial processor, motherboard, and RAM. Then if you want to upgrade to a larger CPU fan heatsink combo later on, the you can.

> 24 hourYou can’t be this price for a 6 core CPU... it works great, I have it installed on a Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H with 16 Gb of ram, plus Radeon RX 560 4Gb vídeo card and an SSD, it can handle anything you throw at it... including games. If you are on a budget this is it!!!

> 24 hourThe performance per dollar is insane. 6 core 12 thread cpus would have been $200+ just a few years ago. So finding it for under $100 is amazing. I am using in what is effectively a home office PC, and it is rather overkill. The performance gain over the 1500x and 1200 for the money is a no brainer. Choosing between this and a 3200G/3400G APU is a tougher decision that comes down if you have an old dGPU laying around( Since i had an old R9 270 not being used for anything else so the choice of the 1600 over an APU was easy enough), and if the APUs graphics chip can really push enough pixels for your uses case. (for an office pc the APU probably would have be sufficient.)

> 24 hourEven after the price raised from 85 to 99 dollars american, this is STILL a great buy. If youre looking for a good processor thatll run just fine with any GPU at or below the strength of an RTX 2070, but wanna redirect some money to higher speed RAM rather than future proofing with a 3600 (Ryzen 4000 equipped laptops are about to hit the market), this is it.

> 24 hourThis is a great way to save money when building a pc, it does everything i throw at it (cad, games, VR, unity, and photoshop). It is just a little beast, I love it.
