Greater than one weekThis item is great , easy to install and easy to setup , the only thing I noticed is the schedule options , I learn that you need to setup the on and off twice meaning , One for the smart plug to coming on and another schedule time for when to turn off . I just think most peoples dont know this . Thank You

> 3 dayWorks as intended. Kept failing when trying to use my 5GHz wifi. Switched to 2.4GHz and connected fine. I assume it isnt compatible with the 5GHz frequency.

> 3 dayLove how it works. They could improve the on-off switch. When you plug it in, the power/Wi-Fi button is hard to get to. On the bottom, so when you’re close to the floor it’s hard to see what color it’s glowing. Also, written instructions are small, could be clearer, and were hidden on the side of the box. It took some doing but glad I bought them!

> 3 dayI’ve been used these sockets for many years already. This time I decided to add a few sockets, but received defective. Seller’s support immediately sent be a replacement and now it works well! As of the device itself, if it’s not defective, no issues so far! I’ll certainly buy it again!

> 3 dayThis will be the third time I buy these. I’m kind of hooked into the app and the routines and it has really been working and helping a lot. One of them died, but I’m glad it stopped in the off position. I do need another one in that spot so I’m going to purchase a few more. They are 99.9% reliable to stay online. The one that was dying first started to go off-line. I guess that would be a signal that one’s about to fail. Not everything lasts forever. I’ve been using these heavily for quite a few months.

> 3 dayIf you look closely, you can see the plug starting to melt! I kept smelling something and couldnt figure out where it was coming from. I had my electric fireplace plugged into a power strip. The fireplace finally just turn off. I found out where the smell was coming from. The app told me I was offline. Be careful not to use a power strip or smart plug to run your fireplace.

> 3 dayI got a two-pack with a coupon, so it was a hard to beat value. These work great out of the box, but I did run into some minor issues that I will outline in case anyone else runs into problems. 1. They currently use 2.4GHz only. Not sure if the chipset supports 5GHz and they just need a firmware update, but well see. If you happen to know, please comment. 2. My wifi access point uses dual band, with 5GHz being my preferred network as its less polluted by neighbors devices. This means I had to switch my phone over to 2.4GHz to configure and back again. Alexa doesnt care which youre on - you dont need to be on your own network once theyve been configured. 3. Id highly advise using a password vault like lastpass or the like. This made configuration so smooth and simple, while using That said, I do question the security of these, and I think there needs to be more documentation for users to ensure their home networks are safe. For that Im docking one overall star, despite the listed features all getting five.

Greater than one weekIn terms of features these are great and setup was not difficult. My complaint is that I have had two (of 4) fail within four years. Perhaps Im asking too much but this was under light loads and I dont think the short lifespan is acceptable.
