I got it before it dropped to 3 stars but at most you will point this at yourself while you sleep and get cool air. Dont expect cold air or it to cool your bedroom even if its closet size. I add ice cubes all the time and blast it on turbo mode to feel anything. would i recommend you pick this up? Nah, save and get a window unit. or buy a 5-10 gallon bag of ice put it in a bucket and place a box fan on top.

Its surprising how much cool air this cube can produce. Unfortunately you must be setting right in front of and very close to it in order to experience the air. I sat it next to my favorite chair and it works for me.

Be sure to place a towel under it otherwise you will have a puddle….

Does not work well in a large space. Small areas is much better.

This is certainly not quiet. If youre sitting within about 2 to 5 feet of it, it works well. Thats why I give it two stars. It might work well for a small cubicle or office (aside from the noise). We placed it in our living room near the couch and I dont feel any air and have to turn the TV up really loud to hear anything. I wouldnt buy again.

Smaller then expected a little noise good as a personal fan. Height is the size of an iPhone.

We bought this for our RV to help us stay cool at night. Most RV parks that dont have full hookups will not allow you to run your Generator after 10pm so I thought this would just help keep the room cold after hours, but nope we didnt feel a thing and on top of that had water running down the counter in the RV. I tried cold water with ice and freezing the filter. Still nothing. Turns out its just white noise at night. Mine actually stopped working for about 5 days, I was about to throw it out and it magically came back on. But still not cooling a small lil RV for 2. Of course I have passed my return date. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS. this is not good for even a lil small RV.

Upon first use, I found the unit easy to use without reading the directions. I would suggest distilled water to keep down contaminants. It does what it says I am well pleased with the unit overall. The only thing in the description that I was a little mislead to think it had a built in battery pack so you could use it just about anywhere. Cant give 5 stars for that reason. If you want to take this camping and use inside your tent or over your hammock I would suggest an external portable power pack for the unit then you would be golden. Overall I am impressed know the design is based on a swamp cooler which works better in higher humid areas than areas with low humidity. Southern states and states like AZ will find this unit great to use, Northern states may not get the same results. But was well worth the investment! Even small enough to pack away in a backpack if I want!
