> 3 dayMy room temperature was ~22C, I put the thermostat in front of this fan and it measured around 16.5C. You can actually feel the cold air blowing. However this thing could humidify your room a little bit, might be a good or a bad thing depending on what you want. Other things to keep in mind: 1- You may need to put a towel under it, the mist can collect on the fins and leak water 2- Power the device with the plug that comes with it, or make sure to use the same power output if you want to use an alternative power source. It may not work properly if you plug it in you PC or a low current power bank.

> 3 daySince we got these units we have saved 100s of dollars on electricity. They are utterly amazing and last for 10 hrs

> 3 dayI’ve bought third-party knockoff versions of arctic air evaporator coolers that operated 10 times better than this damn thing, it offers cooling air yes but it leaks water all over the place. It’s truly a badly designed unit that I cannot recommend.

> 3 dayCute, Compact design, uses a large computer fan to blow air. So if you don’t mind sitting next to your desktop computer while you sleep… otherwise after reading the other reviews the water tank is small.

> 3 day....Unless you live in Arizona where the the heat is very dry. Unit sprays out water and mist, just what you dont want when its humid. The tank on my unit leaked and never really blew cold air even after I froze the cartridge overnight. Account says I have until June 27th to return it but the system is not allowing me to at this point.

Greater than one weekThis item is no better than a small fan. I used it beside my bed and only at night. I followed all directions to a T, but the force of the air was literally no stronger than a small handheld fan. But it takes up much more space than a small fan. I wouldnt recommend this product.

> 3 dayI bought this thing to have on my desk. I stream and do a lot of other things on my PC. Works great! Only flaw is not being able to clean the water “tank” so use bottled water if you live in an area with harsh tap water!

> 3 dayTldr: its just a fan that doesnt blow hot air on a hot night. cool air, not freezing on tap water. Put a bottle in the tank to make it last longer than 3 hours. I have a 1 sq feet room. On a usual night around summer time my room is hot and humid enough to build sweat on the body part laying on the bed. It takes about 1 hour of cold tap water to lower the room temp enough so I dont sweat on the bed but I still feel kind of sticky. The seller claims that the product can shoot a water mist for 10 hours but in 1 hour on high mist it has already used up 1/3 of the water tank. Even if I set it to low mist I highly doubt it would last 10 hours. Thats why I put a bottle in the tank to supply water by cutting a half inch hole on the side of the cap. Now thats 10 hours! Its also a bad idea to step out of the room since it immedeality resets the cooling process, 1 hour wasted. So if you gotta pee or you farted too much, turning your room into a room of death... suffer or stay cool. The choice is yours.... well. I mean you can always point the air at yourself for maximum effect which ultimately keeps you cool throughout the usage but I dont like having an air flow at me when Im sleeping, I always wake up with a headache. I give it 3 stars because it does work but its not mind blowing. perfect if youre a cheapskate and you dont mind being a little sticky.

07-06-2025This will never produce ice cold Arctic air no matter what you do. If you buy thinking it will cool a small room well or make you cold you’ll be a bit disappointed. This works extremely well as a small fan with slightly colder air than just a regular floor fan. Fairly quiet and does have an option to turn off the light, and has very easy to figure out controls. Only major complaint is all the water. There is water EVERYWHERE after using this. It drips onto the table it’s on, looking inside the device there’s water dripping right next to the electronic parts of the device with nothing to separate the wires from the dripping water. I had to empty it out and take it apart to completely drain it of its water surrounding the wires and electrical parts. Definitely wouldn’t put it in a kids room due to all the water and electricity so close.
