> 3 dayCute, Compact design, uses a large computer fan to blow air. So if you don’t mind sitting next to your desktop computer while you sleep… otherwise after reading the other reviews the water tank is small.

Greater than one weekYou get what you pay for, can be semi loud but it does cool you down a bit. Adding ice and freezing the filter is the best way to do it, but if you don’t then it’s just a fan and nothing special.

> 3 dayI ordered this after seeing the advertisement to cool any room in under 3 minutes. Does it work as well as I had hoped, no, but to be honest at the moment I dont think the refrigerator is cold enough for me. But it does cool. Definitely not like an ac, but I tell you what, we live a split level duplex and our bedroom feels like you walked through the gates of hell to the point that for the last 3 years we just slept in our living room. Well I did to much embarrassment put foil on the window and cover it with a blanket to keep all the afternoon sun out. And I got it better in there and today my little cooler came. I put it in there after freezing the filter and adding ice water its making a big difference. I do have my ac directed that way and a few fans to circulate the air but I think we may sleep comfortably tonight, I hope.

> 3 dayEvery quarter, at work, we have to spend a significant amount of time in one small room completing a specific task involving machinery giving off heat, and an exterior wall absorbing the summer sun and radiating into the room making it extremely hot in there. It is connected to our air circulating system, but that just doesnt cut the mustard in the summer! The other day, someone brought one of these little jewels into that room and it made a world of difference!! It does put out a surprising amount of coolth! Its been very tolerable in there all week long. I do have an actual window mount A/C at home, but it only works for about half of my space. Which is fine during the day as its the Living Room/Kitchen/Dining area. But...my off rooms, bedroom and computer room, dont benefit from the air unless I string fans and run them forcing air down the hall and then split it into those rooms. And that only works to a certain point. When it hits the 90s, that pretty much stops being effective. After having the one at work and seeing how great this unit works, I not only bought one locally for my computer room, but I ordered one from Amazon for my bedroom. I know from what Ive experienced at work that these will be exactly what I need to make those rooms bearable when Im using them. My bedroom wasnt as bad, but my computer room has direct Southern exposure AND it gets direct radiant heat from the paved parking area out front. So it gets to hot to spend much time in there during the summer. And...with temps forecast to hit the mid-upper 90s in the upcoming week, and with nighttime temps only dropping into the mid-upper 60s, they will most definitely be a comfort saver!!

Hello
> 3 dayIf youre deciding to buy or not like I was, here are few points. This is not an A/C. Dont expect it to cool of room or make ski slope snow. It is personal desk fan. Once you accept that, you can decide if you want it. I like it and Im not disappointed. First let say that evaporative cooling is a myth. It does exist in theory, but in real life is totally inefficient. What you get is a mini humidifier and desk fan with the added benefit of vapor mist. The vapor mist is the part to experiment with. Freezing the filter did not show any help. Keeping it wet is just fine. The reason is that in hot room ice melts right before your eyes. That also applies to water in the reservoir. Standing water warms up rather quick in a hot room and defeats the cooling idea. So the solution that seem to help is filling the reservoir with just enough water to keep it from running dry. Maybe quarter of the tank or less, and keep adding ice instead of water. Seating in front of fan in hot weather feels good, and keeping the water cold makes cooler breeze. You can also put little bottle cap with scent inside the unit and have room freshener. My favorite is peppermint oil. I run it at low since the fan is noisy on high setting and I want just a breeze, not a tornado. When it becomes really hot I turn on A/C, but for spring weather that fluctuates from hot to cold this thing is just fine.

> 3 dayThe fan is small and made for personal use. It does the job for sure! I was surprised that it worked as stated.

> 3 dayDirections are easy to follow, and easy to use. However this product is best used if youre in a very small tight space. In large areas like offices, I wouldnt recommend this tho.
