> 24 hourI absolutely love this item. I am currently writing this review using it. This is perfect if you wanted to do some moderate gaming as it has a feature that, when plugged in, makes it better optimized for higher demanding games. I also really enjoy the RGB keyboard that you can customize whenever you want. The battery life isnt the best, but I usually keep it plugged in anyways since it performs the best. For the price, it completely exceeded my expectations and I am extremely happy with it. I 100% recommend this product for anyone looking for a decent gaming laptop.

> 24 hourPerfect replacement for a much more expensive laptop my son had. Primarily used for gaming but has worked great to work from home now too. Great value for the price.

> 24 hourI’ve had mine for three days and it already froze up trying to play music on YouTube. Ctrl-alt-Del wouldn’t do a thing. Also, this thing can barely pick up my WIFI, and drops it all the time, every 30 sector so. None of my other devices have that issue.

> 24 hourOverall this is an excellent entry level gaming laptop. It has played all the games I want at Med - High settings at 1080 P with no issue. The screen is bright and the keyboard is the best Ive ever typed on. The Ryzen 3550H is a powerhouse and pairs nicely with the GTX1650. Also, the 120 Hz panel is a dream and actually gets used as I see 120 FPS in Fallout 4 on High - Max settings at 1080 P. My only issue is the track pad. Im not sure if it is the surface or drivers, but it lags and is sometimes totally unresponsive.

> 24 hourTwo days before the warranty expired my laptop simply wouldnt turn on. I tried trouble shooting the problem to no avail. I was going to call customer service but assumed Id need the sales receipt to take advantage of the warranty. The laptop was purchased as a gift, so I had to contact that person to get the receipt. By the time I spoke with customer service the warranty had been expired one day. It turns out I didnt need the receipt anyway. They refused to honor the warranty because I had missed it by a day. I took it to a computer repair person and found out that my power adapter was defective and that the mother board was fried. The cost for repair was almost the cost of the laptop brand new. I contacted ASUS again to see how much they charged to replace a motherboard. They refused to tell me, instead insisting that I pay an $85 diagnostic fee. My local technician didnt charge for the diagnostic. I had bought my son the same laptop and the technician confirmed that his power adapter was also defective, giving inconsistent power levels.

> 24 hourThis is an amazing entry level gaming laptop. It performs well with emulators. I ran Quake 4 and the frame rates were great. Putting at the highest setting caused the game to dump me out to the Desktop and leaving my screen in a weird state which was resolved with a reboot. It boots up very quickly and shut down just as quick. It has an empty bay for a 2.5 HDD or SDD, and the RAM and NVMe SSD can be changed out. Only downside was the choice of ports. This laptop comes with a USB 2.0 port, and two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, but no USB-C ports. I do find the inclusion of a USB 2.0 port odd, considering the fact that the two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports are backwards compatible with USB 2.0. Also, the lack of USB-C ports are also odd, as most laptops have them. Keep that in mind when purchasing this laptop. Other than those, this is a great value for the money that wont break the bank.
